Erleben Sie außerdem die wahre Schönheit der Täler und Aussichtspunkte mit Wachspalmen sowie die wunderschönen 360-Grad-Landschaften und Attraktionen wie das große Cocora-Schild. Nach so viel Genuss gibt es nichts Besseres als das typische Mittagessen (Reis, Salat, Riesen-Patacón mit Forelle, Hogao und Limonade). Wer keinen Fisch mag, kann ihn durch Rindfleisch, Hähnchenschnitzel oder Schweinesteak ersetzen (je nach Fleisch kann das Gericht variieren). Machen Sie einen Ausflug zum Santa Rita-Wasserfall, wo Sie ein wunderschönes, verträumtes Anwesen und seine Gärten besichtigen können, bevor Sie den Rest der Wanderung beginnen, die durch die alten Eisenbahntunnel, den natürlichen Wald, die Campingplatzlandschaften und über Hängebrücken führt. Wenn Sie den Wasserfall erreichen, steht Ihnen ein Umkleidebereich zum Schwimmen zur Verfügung.

Reiseverlauf
Ausgehend von Salento, der Vatergemeinde von Quindío, fahren wir mit dem Jeep Willys Transport für etwa 20 bis 25 Minuten ins Cocora-Tal, begleitet von einem lokalen Führer.
Wir haben eine schöne Tour durch das Tal der Palmen und Aussichtspunkte von Wachspalmen Kolumbiens und das Gebiet des Beginns des Berges gemacht.
Reiten von etwa 30 Minuten (optional) vom Esperanza-Stall zum Mini-Naturwald und vorbei am Fluss, der einen kleinen Wasserfall bildet.
Typisches Salento-Mittagessen (Reis, Bohnen oder Getreide des Tages, Fleisch des Tages, Salat oder Limonade) oder Kombination mit Riesen-Patacon-Forelle, Schwein oder Huhn mit Salat, Reis und Limonade.
Besuch der Santa Rita Farm, die uns in einer Rundfahrt einen 17 Meter hohen Wasserfall sehen lässt, zu dem wir Zugang haben, ein natürliches Becken (Höhlen und Tunnel optional)

We went on the tour with Nicolas and were amazed by the wax palms. When you stop for a little coffee, make sure to try the cake with guava and cheese!

Loved this tour, it had everything we wanted. Daniel was an excellent guide and pointed out a lot of things we would've missed about plants, nature, native birds, and the history. The horse back riding was a great experience but in the short side, there are other tours that feature more of that if you want a longer house back riding experience. The views from the lookout of the cocora valley are stunning. You will see nature in its splendor as well as all the photo op spots (the hand, wings, cocora valley sign, etc). There's also the option of a seeing a bigger waterfall or smaller one. We chose the one big one. The hike to get there was steep and challenging so be forewarned. We made it and it was worth the effort. Bonus, this cute dog that lives on the area will walk up with you and guide you to the spot. Overall great experience and I would recommend.
This was a great tour! Our guide Dani was so kind and informative. We learned a lot and had a great day of adventures. I enjoyed having a guide to handle everything even though it is possible to go on your own. He taught us a lot of things I wouldn't otherwise know about the area. Great experience!
The tour was a great way to experience the Cocora Valley. I really enjoyed being able to be in the valley before large amounts of people arrived for the day. Would definitely recommend.
