Die griechische Marke CHOE wurde vor einigen Jahren in dem charmanten kleinen Dorf Kanakades gegründet. CHOE ist eine umweltfreundliche Marke mit Schwerpunkt auf Design und Kunst. Es werden natürliche Materialien wie Holz, Stoff, Glas und Bronze für eine Reihe von Designs verwendet, die darauf abzielen, die Gesamtheit der vier Jahreszeiten widerzuspiegeln. Nachhaltige Wachsressourcen werden von Hand geschnurrt, wie reines griechisches Bienenwachs und natürliches Sojawachs. CHOE-Designs sind hauptsächlich von der antiken griechischen Kultur inspiriert, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf den Elementen liegt, die in der modernen Welt erhalten bleiben. Die Auswahl unserer geliebten Düfte ist inspiriert von mediterraner Natur, Kräutern, Früchten und Blüten. Ein Teil unserer Inspiration findet sich auch in der Tradition und unseren Kindheitserinnerungen. Helen is an excellent host who is bright and bubbly and great fun. The experience was exceptional, Helen walked us through the key steps of candle making and including how to select a scent. I cannot recommend this experience enough and anyone who loves candles or even those that enjoy learning about fragrances should definitely try this experience!
Helen who lead the session was very kind and patient. She gave us the history of the business and told us loads about the source of the supplies we used. We received by step instructions whilst making beautiful beeswax candles in a traditional way. This was lovely relaxing activity to do whilst visiting the area and not your normal tourist holiday experience. It was tranquil and therapeutic and the team were all very friendly. There is a beautiful small shop onsite selling amazing products. Don’t miss this gentle introduction to traditional crafting if you get the opportunity.
The workshop at Choe Candles with Helen was a highlight in our holiday on Corfu. Helen is a competent, loveable and caring host. Her passion to her profession is impressive. She made our stay very comfortable and we enjoyed every moment with her company. Every time we will light our candle will remind us of a phantastic afternoon at Choe Candles. Highly recommanded!
