Das Chittor Fort oder Chittorgarh ist eines der größten Festungen in Indien. Es ist ein UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe. Das Fort war die Hauptstadt von Mewar und liegt in der heutigen Stadt Chittor. Es erstreckt sich über einen 180 m hohen Hügel, der sich über eine Fläche von 280 ha erstreckt, über der Ebene des von der Berach entwässerten Tals.
Das Vijaya Stambha ist ein imposantes Siegesdenkmal im Chittor Fort in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, Indien. Der Turm wurde 1448 von dem Mewar-König Rana Kumbha errichtet, um an seinen Sieg über die von Mahmud Khilji geführten kombinierten Armeen von Malwa und Gujarat zu erinnern. Der Turm ist Vishnu gewidmet.
Das Kirti Stambha ist ein Turm aus dem 12. Jahrhundert im Chittor Fort in der Stadt Chittorgarh im indischen Rajasthan. Der 22 Meter hohe Turm wurde von einem Jain-Händler Jeeja Bhagerwala während der Regierungszeit von Rawal Kumar Singh (ca. 1179-1191) zum Ruhm des Jainismus erbaut.

I long awaited to go to Chittaurgarh fort as it symbolises Rajputs bravery moreover queens’ legendary tales of self immolation to protect their honour. Our guide Vinord did an excellent job narrating the history beautifully. Very much enjoyed our last fort in this visit to north India.
