Diese ganztägige Tour ermöglicht es uns, den nördlichen Teil der Insel Chiloé zu besuchen. Nachdem wir 30 Minuten lang durch den Chacao-Kanal gefahren sind und eine Vielzahl von Vögeln und Seelöwen beobachtet haben, erreichen wir die Stadt Chacao. Wir fahren in Richtung Ancud und dann 28 km südwestlich von Ancud, um das Naturdenkmal zu besuchen. Die Puñihuil-Inseln sind ein vom Staat geschütztes wildes Gebiet, in dem sich die Fischer dem Tourismus angeschlossen und ihn durch Führungen, Navigationsdienste und Restaurants verändert haben. Um eine Kolonie von Humboldt- und Magellan-Pinguinen zu sehen, muss man ein Boot (Navigation nicht inbegriffen) entlang der Küste des Pazifischen Ozeans nehmen. Wir werden die Insel weiter bereisen und durch einen langen, einsamen Strand fahren, wo wir den Ozean in seiner ganzen Pracht sehen werden. Nach unserer Rückkehr besuchen wir die am zweithäufigsten besiedelte Stadt Chiloé, Ancud, wo wir den Platz, den Markt, die Handwerksmesse, die Freunde der Kirchenstiftung und das berühmte Fort San Antonio besuchen.

Chiloe Island is off the coast of the mainland about 15 miles. The island is HUGE at 90 miles long and 45 miles wide. Once on the island all the features of the mainland with town / farm / businesses, make you think you are on the mainland. We observe a lot of the wildlife existing way south on the content. There, we board small boats via a loading contraption (keep our feet dry) to a boat located just off the beach

It was a great and very informative trip. Ingrid is super knowledgeable guide - she probably knows all the birds in that island and Orland is a super careful driver. Penguins are super great part of the trip. And churches … yes in case of any doubts Ingrid would tell you all you need to know. Fantastic experience. Our kids loved it!
Very good tour, our guide took us to Chiloe island. It started raining we took a scenic route to Andy’s. There we toured a church and a museum. The penguin tour got cancelled but we still went to the beach where we take the boat to see the Penguins and there on the rocks we did see many of them. Overall both the guide and the driver showed us a great time despite the bad weather. Thanks so much!
