Jeff was an amazing Piizza Guide! All of the stops were incredible & delicious. We had a great time! Jeff was personable & friendly!
Thank you and we are so glad you enjoyed the tour. Jeff is great, we agree. All of our doughcents have a passion for pizza and history. Join us for another tour again in the future.
The food was excellent and it was an easy walking tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and provided the history behind both the restaurants and the food.
This was such a fun way to experience Chicago. Jeff was an excellent tour guide. We not only learned about the different types of pizza, but we also learned how it’s made and we learned a bit about the history of the restaurants we were going to. Come with a big appetite and remember it’s a marathon not a sprint! Don’t fill up too early!
Knowing my love for pizza, my In-laws bought my wife and I two tickets for the pizza crawl. I've heard of this before, but living here in Chicago for 18+years I thought I knew most of the best pizza places...I was wrong. Our Doughson (Nathalie) did a great job of explaining the history of each restaurant we went to and the difference in the way each place created their signature pies! I highly recommend this tour, it's a good time and you'll definitely have your fill of pizza. (I recommend that you take advantage of the to go box as you'll be able to take some home with you!)
Shawn, We love it when locals take our tours and discover how vast and unique our pizza landscape is (more than deep-dish!). Natalie is an amazing doughcent, and hopefully her enthusiasm for the West Loop was contagious. Thanks again (to your in-laws) for giving us a shot.
Fun few hours learning about and trying a number of different types of pizza. Our guide Brittani was very informative and made the tour fun. Well worth doing.
We had a great time eating so much pizza! Lots of good options, easy walking and fun host. We left very full!
Brian did an excellent job entertaining us for over three hours as we visited four pizza restaurants in the West Loop area. He tailored the tour to the five of us, keeping things interesting with detailed explanations about the area and the various pizzas we enjoyed. All four places were phenomenal as everyone had more than enough and several of us had “doggie” bags to take home. Brian was able to share with us his love for pizza and his tremendous knowledge of the subject. Thanks for an excellent experience that I highly recommend!
We are so glad you could join us and that you enjoyed the experience. Brian is very passionate about pizza and loves to share his knowledge with our guests. Please come back again and try one of our other tours the next time you are in town.
We had a lovely evening out with Mike our host. We visited three different restaurants to have 3 distinctively different Chicago style pizzas. We learned all about how pizzas are made from the ingredients, the pan, to the types of ovens. The restaurant staff at each stop treated us like VIPs, explaining their unique style of pizza and recommending exactly what beer would pair best. We also learned about city history as we rode from place to place in a comfortable bus/van. Two single ladies out on the town safe and well cared for had a truly enjoyable nite on the town
