We had a wonderful time learning to how to cook homemade pasta with Vilma. She was absolutely wonderful. We highly suggest for anyone looking for an authentic Italian food cooking class.
We had such a wonderful time. The staff was amazing and it was so authentic. I felt like I was learning to cook with my own grandma. The food was excellent as well. We just had the best time.
This was a great way to experience the art of making pasta. The hosts were extremely knowledgeable and passionate. We learned many pasta shapes and ate our creations. The setting was well designed for groups. We relaxed and savored 2 dishes and finished with gelato at lunch.
What an amazing experience! Would take the cooking class all over again. We learned how to make ravioli and linguine along with a red sauce and a sage butter sauce. Delicious delicious delicious! The atmosphere was absolutely stunning The Views were absolutely amazing! Thank you very much for a wonderful day!
We had a lot of fun at our pasta making class with Vilma and Thomas! They were great teachers and showed us a variety of different pastas and two sauces. The food was delicious! I’d say it was a semi-hands on cooking class, and great for beginners, not for skilled cooks! We were with a great group of about 15 total which was a good size. Beautiful view from the house as well!
This is a must do if you are in Florence or the Tuscany area. Tommaso was the best teacher and chef and we both learned so much and had an amazing experience.
At first Inwas frustrated because I booked with 9 people - all family - and found out we were in a class of 20 people. That felt too big. Then it was a slow start where the staff did most of the pasta prep and J was worried we would spend three hours watching experts prep yet I wanted my adult children to touch and experience the food making. As the night progressed we more and more were involved in the process and I began to feel this would be okay. I have done a cooking class in Rome before with max 5 people and we did every single step along the way ourselves so I was struggling. Once the pasta was soft and ready to shape, everyone got an opportunity to shape ravioli into two unique shapes and I started to see the experience as one I enjoyed. I loved that we watched the team make two sauces and in the end the food was delicious and the experience was worth it. The team here is amazing (Wilma is the quintessential Nonna) including Wilma, Tommaso, and Lucca. Lucca shared stories of his own Nonna and her recipes while Wilma hugged my own Mama in deep respect for our shared Italian experiences no matter the miles between us (we are American Italians). My adult children all learned a lot and felt connected to the process of turning flour into stunning ravioli and the food was incredible.
We had the most wonderful experience, our host Vinma was the best. She had learned to make pasta with her grandma and couldn’t do enough, we got to make pasta and tiramisu and then watch Vinma cook it for us. Then we enjoyed sitting down to eat a first class meal. The best part was Vinma
Very fun, and we learned a few thinga! The chefs were very easy to work with. Delicious results, and good wine to accompany the food.
This cooking class was amazing! It was just us 2 so we had a really personalized experience. Luca R. was our chef and he really went out of his way to explain and show us all of the different ways, techniques and ingredients to cook the amazing dishes. We had stuffed ravioli ( that we still think about to this day) and a fettuccini fresca. Overall, this was an amazing experience and anyone should definitely take part if you want an authentic Italian food experience that also tastes amazing!
