Reiseverlauf

The tour name is deceiving because we did not receive a tour of the Old City. Instead it was walking into 20+ temples in two complexes within the Old City. The tour guide was friendly and professional. She spoke English; however, she had such a strong Thai accent that it was difficult to understand her.
We're glad to hear that your guide was friendly and professional, especially as she navigated the complexities of language with you. Unfortunately, it seems there was a disconnect between the tour's name and the actual experience, which we'll take on board to ensure our guests are better prepared. We're committed to refining our offerings to meet expectations.
We had a wonderful time walking through the old city of Chiang Mai. Annie was a wonderful tour guide giving us the history of the old city and the kings who ruled it. She explained to us in detail what every temple signified and the application of Buddhism to the place. I highly recommend you book a tour with this group and you will never be disappointed with a guide like her.
Your 5-star rating means the world to us! We're glad to know that you were completely satisfied with your experience.
Our tour guide Sunsansee was amazing and very informative. It felt like she went above and beyond to ensure we absorbed as much information as we could about each of the Wats we visited. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Your 5-star review is greatly appreciated! We're glad to know that we exceeded your expectations.
Our tour guide, Jackie, was very knowledgeable and passionate about his country. We learned a lot from him and he made sure we had a full experience at each temple we visited. From the name of the tour, I thought we would explore the city more, but we just visited the temples.
Thank you so much for your 5-star review! We are thrilled to hear that you had such a positive experience with us.
It’s very informative and an excellent overview of the history and significant cultural sites in Chiang Mai.
Thank you for your kind words and 5-star rating. We're so happy to hear that you had a great experience with us.
Wonderful! Lots of great info and 3 beautiful Buddhist temples. Bring a hat! For walking in the sunny weather.
Thanks for sharing your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the temples and info. Appreciate the tip about bringing a hat - we'll make sure to pass it on.
This guy knows his stuff. Very informative and knowledgeable ( he was previously a monk). Hyper polite and friendly.
Thank you so much for your 5-star review! We are thrilled to hear that you had such a positive experience with us.
Great experience! Amazing. Very recommended
Thank you so much for your 5-star review! We are thrilled to hear that you had such a positive experience with us.
This was the worst tour that I’ve taken in Thailand and I’ve been on several in 4 years. Guide talked too much and we walked 200 meters in 1 hour 45 minutes.
Ken, we’re sorry you felt the pace and guide interaction didn’t meet your expectations during the Chiang Mai Old City & Temples tour. We’ve noticed feedback about timing and talk-to-walk balance—our team is adjusting those elements for future tours. Thanks for sharing this directly with us.
I bailed out after less than an hour of what was supposed to be a three-hour guided tour. Don’t waste your money. You’d be better off just walking between the three sites in your own time, they are easy to find on Google Maps.
We’re truly sorry to hear the tour didn’t meet your expectations and that you chose to leave early. This is not the experience we aim to provide. We’ve shared your feedback with our team and are reviewing this tour with the guide to improve pacing and overall value. For refund support, please contact GetYourGuide directly as they process payments.
