Der Charyn-Canyon-Nationalpark ist die berühmteste Natursehenswürdigkeit Kasachstans. Wir werden seinen bei Touristen wohlbekannten Teil besuchen, der wegen seiner ungewöhnlichen Form auch Tal der Burgen genannt wird. Während der Tour werden Sie „die Mars“-Aussicht auf den Charyn Canyon genießen. Aufgrund seiner Ähnlichkeit wird das Castle Valley auch als „kleiner Bruder“ des Grand Canyon in Colorado bezeichnet, obwohl es viel kleiner ist. Auf dem Weg zum Charyn Canyon besuchen wir den Straßenmarkt im Dorf Baiseiyt.

Das „Tal der Burgen“ des Charyn Canyon ist über 150 km lang und nach konservativsten Schätzungen von Wissenschaftlern etwa 12 Millionen Jahre alt. In der Antike war die einzigartige Schlucht der Grund des Ili-Sees, an den uns heute der Fluss Charyn erinnert, der durch die Schlucht fließt. Er steht dem Grand Canyon in den Vereinigten Staaten in nichts nach, da es steile Klippen mit einer Höhe von 150 bis 300 m und einer Tiefe von 200 m gibt. Während der Saison bildet das turbulente Wasser eine starke Strömung, die selbst für erfahrene Schwimmer lebensgefährlich ist.

If the travel agency doesn’t send a pickup time, call them. I waited 2 hours then called. They’d forgotten. Trip itself was very good as was guide. We got back an hour later then I’d wanted due to late start.
Long time was planning to visit Charyn Canyon. This time we were lucky to go, since our guide was Aidyn. He has strong SUV Lexus 470. And Aidyn himself the very knowledgeable guide with a lot of joy travelling to.
Aydin is a super guide. knows a lot, positive. and also sings beautifully and plays Kazakh musical instruments

Despite a little misunderstanding regarding the date, the tour guide managed to quickly adapt to the situation and find a solution to our convenience. We visited the Canyon, the Moon Canyon and another lake within a single day, and it was amazing ! Not only were the places wonderful, but the drive itself to these places was very pleasant and peaceful. Our tour guide was careful, interesting, and answered our many questions.
