We stumbled upon Southern Charm while we were on a one day visit to Charlotte. It was great! Best way to get an overview and historical context of the city. Our guide formerly worked in Radio. I can't remember his name. He was a delight to listen to. Highly recommended. Worth the $
Our jaunt with Southern Charm Rides was what I was hoping for in a guided tour. Our tour guide, Josh, was excellent. Riding around “uptown” mid morning on a business day, seemed so comfortable like everything was revolving around us to take in the adventure. Very informative. Showing and explaining hidden features that no way I would have caught on too on my own. One of my favorites was when we exited the uptown area, right when we started going down hill into a nice treed residential neighborhood; and I mean within the first hundred feet from the previous commercial intersection, how quiet the area became. Josh mentioned the phenomenon just in passing as he was introducing the next phase of the tour. And for someone who has worked outside most of my career I had never noticed or experienced something like that. Thanks Josh. If the opportunity arises I/we would definitely do this again.
A golf cart is the perfect way to get a view of Charlotte! It’s comfortable and we felt perfectly safe. Our tour guide was informative, funny and pleasant to be with for our 90 minute tour! We learned a lot and got a really cool view of the city. Thank you!!

I took the Ultimate Southern Charm City Cart Tour in June and had a blast! Cruising through Uptown in an open-air cart is easily the best way to see the city. It’s the perfect mix of local history, stunning cityscapes, and fun stories. Our guide DeMaine was knowledgeable, engaging, and made sure everyone had a great time. Highly recommend this tour if you're looking to explore the Queen City—5 stars!

This tour gives you a taste of what the city has to offer. It helped us pick our next activity and restaurant. I appreciated how warm and personal our guide was! She spoke clearly and provided great facts about the city. On a side note… I recommend you bring or put on Sun screen.
Very enjoyable, and guide was informative and friendly. The 1.5 hours flew by . There were multiple road closures due to construction which lead to more traffic and the need to reroute. The guide handled it like a pro, but had I known, I probably would have postponed the ride until another time. All in all, a great time. I will recommend to others.
There is a lot of construction at times but there is always construction going on in uptown. It’s something we are used to and we do the same tour, we just change our direction around. We are glad you enjoyed the tour and we appreciate your kind words. Hope you have a safe trip!
Ended up being a solo tour since it was first thing on a Sunday morning, a great time to go while the city is nice and quiet! Had a great tour with Tremaine who is native to the area and a fountain of historical knowledge. I mentioned I liked seeing city murals when I travel and he delivered! Highly recommend!!
