Unsere erfahrenen Guides können es kaum erwarten, Ihnen unsere wunderschöne Stadt zu zeigen und Ihnen alles über ihre Geschichte zu erzählen. Erwarten Sie historische Kirchen, Gerichtsgebäude, Hotels, Museen, Theater, Häuser aus dem Jahr 1867 und mehr zu sehen. Für unsere Sportfreunde fahren wir vorbei an der Nascar Hall of Fame, dem Spectrum Center, dem Bank of America Stadium (Heimstätte der Carolina Panthers und Charlotte FC) und dem Truist Field (Heimstätte der Charlotte Knights). During our first visit to Charlotte during the July 4th weekend, my husband and I took a morning golf cart tour of Uptown. It was a nice tour despite really hot temps (low 90s in the morning). Our guide, Jonathan, was very knowledgeable and quite funny - in a wry sense of humor kind of way. He shared key Charlotte history, including colonial hustory and he explained why the downtown area is called "Uptown." Jonathan also included some important black history in his presentation, which is also Charlotte history. Jonathan pointed out sites (historical and new), museums and restaurants. He even took time after our tour to share additional insights about the city. Great tour. I highly recommend!
A perfect way to spend hot afternoon and learn about the history of Charlotte. Jonathan was an awesome guide with answers to every imaginable question! And we do ask lots of questions, I love history!
