E-Ticket und Audiotour zum Archäologischen Museum von Chania

Spent a very interesting couple of hours on this tour. Building is a lovely air conditioned space, staff are lovely & make you feel welcome, exhibits are fantastic and the audio tour was very informative and interesting. Highly recommend a visit to the cafe after your visit - food & coffee very good and the view of Chania is fabulous. There are lockers to leave your beach bag etc so you can walk down to the beach for a swim afterwards. All in all, a brilliant experience. Museum is closed on Tuesdays.

Buying the tickets was ridiculously difficult. We kept getting emails, but not the tickets until the very last minute. The emails kept promising an audio to her, but it was impossible to access the audio tour.

A little hidden away but once you stumble upon it, WOW. well worth the walk to discover the amazing history of the island in a beautifully modern and clean building. The exhibits are very interesting going back beyond the ancient Greeks to the first settlers of Crete and then covering everything onwards, wonderful statues and star exhibits of an ancient collapsed home from an earthquake with an interesting story and stunning floor mosaics. So glad we made the effort to visit on our one day visit off of a cruise!

A very new museum, with full explanatory material. Nevertheless, I found the self-guided tour by Cio Muse extremely useful. Very pleasant and charming experience, especially if you have teens with you,

This particular experience made my visit to the archaeological museum of Chania even more special! Easy and quick access with my per-booked ticket and the tour was filled with interesting details of the exhibits. Totally recommend it.
