First time I had been skiing for a long time. Guide was helpful and friendly and showed me where I needed to go to get my equipment and where to catch ski bus. Slopes were outstanding. An overall amazing experience.
Dear guest, Sounds like you had an incredible time getting back into skiing! It's great that the guide was so helpful and made everything easier for you, from getting your equipment to catching the ski bus. And with those amazing slopes, it sounds like the perfect way to dive back into the sport! We hope to welcome you soon Kind regards
This is basically transport from Genva to ski area and back. It's not clear which bus is the right bus at the debark bus station so you just need to ask each bus until you find the right one. Left at 830 then a 1 hr bus ride to ski area. Bring your passport. Once off bus in ski town 10 min walk to collection area where tour splits up between different tours. You will need to pay attention so you get in correct group. Guide will take you ski rental shop get you checked in. Rental process was quick and gear good. They do have helmets included. You can also rent ski pants and jackets. No lockers. They said we could leave our shoes under benches. We did and they were there when we returned. Then you are on your own. Guide told us what public bus to take and we walked back 10 mins to bus area. You will have to look at maps/legends to ensure you get on right bus and platform. Very crowded on bus. No guarantee you will get first bus. Busses run every 15 mins. Pass provided by guide is your lift ticket so no need exchange etc. Pass is electronic so ensure easily accessible to scan on various lifts. My son could leave in wallet in jacket and scan jacket but I had to have mine out. We where skiing by 11AM. We skied Brevarnt and was amazing good maps at collection points and trails marked. We stopped skiing at 16:00 as we were not sure about public bus return and gear return timing. Return bus collection point had no map/legend so we just followed all the skiers and hoped for best. Again very crowded and no guaratee on getting on bus. Bus signage didn't help as to where it was going. It did get us back to bus area and then 10 min walk back to rental return. Return was crowed but quick and efficient. On 10 min walk back to tour bus we had time for a quick beer before 17:30 departure. Bus situation was same as debark need to keep asking each bus until you find yours. We were back in Geneva at 19:00.
Thank you for your detailed review! We're glad to hear you enjoyed skiing in Brévent and appreciated the rental process and the quality of the gear provided. It's wonderful to know you had an amazing experience on the slopes and that the lift pass process was seamless. We appreciate your feedback about the bus and navigation experience. We understand that clearer instructions and signage at the bus stops and collection points would have made your trip smoother. We’ll take this into account to improve communication and guidance for future travelers, especially regarding bus identification and directions. Thank you again for sharing your experience—it helps us refine our services. We hope to welcome you on another trip soon, with an even better experience!
Incredible city. Great for spending the day walking through the parks around the Leman side. Very organized and pleasant city. m
Dear guest, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts! We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your experience with us. It's always our goal to provide exceptional service and create memorable moments for our guests. We hope to welcome you again. Best regards
Key tours are absolute thieves , they will drop you in town give you brief information and if you don’t know your way around you won’t find anyone to support over and above that if you for any reason did not ride on the cable car they will not refund you , they will claim that you used the pass in different activities even if you didn’t and without any proof , Avoid Avoid Avoid !!!! If you don’t k ow your way around Chamonix or haven’t been there before , if you do know your way , consider them as a bus ride that’s all , THIEVES
Dear Sir, Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We appreciate the time you took to share your feedback, and we take every guest comment seriously. We sincerely apologize if your experience did not meet your expectations. However, after a thorough review of your concerns, it appears that there might be some miscommunication or misunderstanding. We did the best we could before your daily trip answering a lot of questions you'd made through our partner website, even questions not related to us (like ski instructor etc...) and we did it by pleasure obviously. We provided all information needed thanks to our guide for you daily trip ski pass in Chamonix. Considering the fact taht we have limited control over natural elements such as weather, we couldn't guess that the cable car for the Aiguille du Midi would be closed. However, as we mentioned it before the Compagnie of Mont Blanc has confirmed that you've used the Brevent Cable car that to their system, so could we understand that the office of Chamonix is lying! We feel sorry if the tour did not except your wishes but we could advise a book a private tour next time. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we look forward to the opportunity to address your concerns and enhance your overall experience with our services. Sincerely
Our guide explained everything to us. My niece and I skied the day surrounded by the most beautiful mountains ever. After skiing, we enjoyed some crepes, in the cute town of Chamonix! Absolutely loved the experience from this excursion.
Good morning, Thank you very much for your review. We are glad you had good weather and nice snow for skiing. We hope you keep good memories. Best regards
The guide indicated that the weather was not good at Chamonix that day but he didn't explain how badly it would affect our experience. He and his company, Key Tours, knew the conditions based on the weather report, the Chamonix ski resort website information, and his own experience skiing the slopes and the company's experience leading tours. We should have been given the opportunity for a refund or to book on another day. Our skiers were completely drenched with rain after 1 hour on the slopes. We were taken up a cable car with windows completely covered with wet snow and fog - couldn't see a thing. We were brought home at 12:30 (we paid for a full day tour). I contacted Viatour for a refund, and Key Tours only refunded 1/2 the cost. In my opinion they wasted our money and time by not offering to reschedule the trip. Very disppointed.
This is a great choice if you're looking for a day trip into Chamonix! Bus ride - easy to get to, informative and organized! The guide spoke many languages Cable Car Ride - a must! You go early enough to bypass all the lines(tickets are handed out during the bus trip to France) Skiing - if you plan accordingly and manage your timing, you should have enough time to grab your rentals and ski for about 1.5hrs When you're done with the cable car and skiing, you have enough time to walk around the cute and quaint Chamonix town and check out the shops - so much to do and see! At around 5:30pm the bus departs and you head back to Geneva.
£302 for 2 persons, I thought every penny will worth my Full Day Trip. On arrival at 10 am, we were told that Aiguille de Midi Cable car will be delayed to 11 am. Then we were told its not going before 13 00. During which, Brevent is proposed as an option which is around 1000 m less compared to what was paid for. At 1300, we were informed the Cable Car is not going for the day. Then, the Red train to Montenvers... Mer de Glace.. Ice cave is closed. Keytours do provide you with an Unlimited Day Pass.. when they know the activities are not in service. Surely, NON REFUNDABLE. Keytours in this business for many years.. they know which service is on or off. I paid for Aiguille de Midi.. NOT Brevent. Behind the cute smile of the Guide Neil, hides a hypocrite well trained staff. To end, I will suggest NOT to book with these people, better pay few more quids, go there on the spot and do your activities folks.
Good morning, We thank you for your request. We sell of products including cable car and mountain train. however if one cable car is close we take another one. Unfortunately, the day when went the cable car to Aiguille du Midi was close and we cannont know it before. We cannot know before departure if they will open because Chamonix gives the informations only around 11 depending on the ice and snow falls. Bad weather can happen on a trip to the mountain and we never know before leaving. We are sorry for your experience, Best regards

The guide was very nice and scenery was beautiful. But I purchased the 1/2 day ski trip with the Midi Cable car ride but was only able to ski. The guide told me it would be better to just ski because the shop where we get the gear closes from 12-3pm. I just feel like it was a very expensive ski trip, for that I could have taken a shuttle over and bought the entrance myself. I also wonder what beautiful views I missed out on by not taking the cable car ride

Slightly disappointed in this trip. Parking at the station was difficult and the bus would not wait for us even though it waited for those who were taken off of the bus when entering France. When we arrived at the mountain we were told that the tickets would work anywhere, that we found to be untrue as we waited for over 30 minutes for the tram only to be told that the tickets that did not work. All in all an ok day. The equipment was not great and the fact that there were no helmets to rent was really disappointing.
