Die Reise, die wir unternommen haben, besteht darin, schöne Erinnerungen an den Chacaltaya-Berg zu haben, der den Aufstieg dazu erleichterte, und uns in die Höhe zu wagen, bis wir nach 5400 msnm die Spitze erreichen ankommen, sobald wir angekommen sind, werden wir das Gefühl haben, einen Ort wie den Mond mit unglaublichen Formationen der erodierten Erde erreicht zu haben.

Der Berg Chacaltaya befindet sich auf einer Höhe von 5300 m.ü.M., wir machen eine Tour, bei der wir sie zu einem bestimmten Teil des Berges mit Mobilität transportieren können, und dann gehen wir zu Fuß, um einen schönen Blick auf die Stadt La Paz und den bolivianischen Altiplano zu haben.
Das Tal des Mondes befindet sich im Süden der Stadt, wo wir in den Windformationen wandern, die einem auf dem Mond vorkommen.

Nice guide, even though he die not tell too much information about places. Lots of sitting in the car and bumpy ride, but very much worth it.
If you want to feel the high mountain,but at the same time you don't want to hike much,thats the tour for you. And our Gabriel made sure tour was amazing. Very knowledgeable,friendly and professional +very good English. Good job!
We had a wonderful day with Buhos Tours! They were even 10 minutes early at the pick up spot. Our small group of 6 had a fantastic time and our guide Juan as well as the driver were very professional, friendly, and explained everything perfectly. Juan shared details about the landscape and things to do and see. We took frequent breaks and stops along the way to take pictures. Definitely recommend booking with them.

I had a good experience from buying the tour to Chacaltaya and Valle de la Luna to the tour itself. It was worth seeing a little more of the surroundings of La Paz.
You travel with a very small local private bus (not 4x4) over a Death-road to the top of 5000 meters. There is only a space of 0,5 meters between the bus and the abyss of 200 meters. thrillseekers from all over the world come to this place to have this thrilling adventure ! The road is very rocky so you get your massage for free ! When you arrive at the abandoned ski resort you have to climb 400 meters more on a steep hill, so adventure again ! We loved this trip 🤛🏻

I saw many comments saying that it is dangerous that the road is bad, but I did not see anything of this, it was the best tour we have done in our 20 days of Bolivia, can go without fear, the car leaves you 200 meters from the summit, easy level to walk.
I took the tour a day after arriving la Paz. It’s not enough time to acclimatize myself to the altitude, not to mention to take this tour without preparation. It’s a great tour if you enjoy hiking and challenging yourself.
