Ceylon Highlights Express

We had a 14 day trip with a private driver. Heshan, our driver, was always punctual, reliable and good company. He was well organised and always provided suggestions for places to eat and shop. He organised the tours we wanted to do seemlessly without any hitches. The hotel accommodation was good with one exception. The safaris suggested by our driver were a highlight. We saw the big 5 animals of Sri Lanka in the wild. Overall we had a great experience in Sri Lanka.

We just completed a two week tour with BH Lanka and our guide for the trip was Nishantha Rathnayaka. Nishantha was a superb guide, extremely polite, an excellent driver, knowledgeable and always incredibly helpful. The trip was amazing, having never been to Sri Lanka before it was a great introduction to the island’s history, varying landscapes and variety of animals/birds. The majority of the hotels were excellent and the multi-site tour had just the right level of activities so there was also time to relax. We would definitely recommend BH Lanka Tours.

My wife and I had always wanted to travel to Sri Lanka but COVID initially interrupted or plans. Children arrived (boys 4yrs &1yrs) but we but the bullet and opted for a round trip with family in tow. We were so glad we did. BH Lanka we extremely accommodating for our family needs, assuring is cots world be provided in all rooms and a car seat for our 1yr old. They were flexible with the accommodation reservations allowing us to select certain properties of we desired. The whole booking process was seamless. The tour itself was exceptional. Our guide, Chami made it all the more special and accommodated and adapted the itinerary based on our family needs. We scaled Sigirya Rock, bathed elephants and saw the beautiful landscape the country offers. All in all it was a superb experience and one we are glad we embarked on with our 2 boys who had a wonderful holiday. Special thanks to Chami and the team at BH Lanka for arranging everything for us.

We had a wonderful tour thanks to our guide Udara. His knowledge of Sri Lanka and love for his country was inspiring. He treated us like family. He was able to take us to some out of the way buffets run by families he has come to know over the years. When we needed a doctor he was able to find a doctor for us very quickly. Wee got the care we needed and he made sure we got the prescriptions filled. I highly recommend Udara.

BH Lanka provided a great tour through Sri Lanka. The driver Narlin Fernando was wonderful. He made every effort to ensure our holiday went smoothly.

What a wonderful, lush and vibrant country! We loved our tour of Sri Lanka and were blown away by the richness of its history, the difference in its regions, the range of colour and warmth of the people. We travelled around Sri Lanka for 12 days and Suje was our guide throughout the trip, which was booked through BH Lanka Tours. Everything ran smoothly and was well organised from start to finish. Suje was reliable, knowledgeable and easy to travel with. He explained the history, culture and places we visited clearly and was happy to answer questions along the way. The schedule was exciting but also allowed time to relax, and plans were adjusted when needed. He made sure we were comfortable each day and helped with practical details such as timings, stops and local advice. Having the same guide for the whole trip made travelling around the country much easier. We enjoyed the experience and would recommend booking with BH Lanka Tours, as well as travelling with Suje if possible.

I had the most amazing time on our of Sri Lanka. Nalin our tour guide was so knowledgeable and caring. He helped us have a great experience.

10/10, My wife and I were lucky enough to have our amazing driver/guide Bathi to take us around. He was incredibly knowledgeable and flexible with us at all times. He even showed us some hidden jems that he personally knew. He really made our time in Sri Lanka special and treated us just like family of his own. We will be recommending this journey and Bathi to everyone we know!
