We enjoyed the tour very much. They offered very nice air-conditioned big van. It was very comfortable. The small city was very pretty and well worth the visit.

Well worth the trip

Great Tour. Cesky Krumlov and castle are well worth the trip. Good tour of the interior of the castle. Our free time in the old town was fun. Our guide was considerate and very knowledgeable. But his English was a little hard to understand.

Love this city.

Our guide, Helen, did an excellent job explaining the history of the city, snapped photos of us, and pointed out architectural features of the buildings. She also gave us some history of Prague as we were leaving for Cesky Krumlov and pointed out specific buildings on our way. Excellent experience! Helen was great!

Wonderful

The tour was great. We left from the old town square around 9:25 am, arrived Český Krumlov at 11:30 pm. Walked around the grounds and the exterior areas of the castle until 1:30 pm. We eat lunch at a medieval restaurant. During Winter, the interior of the castle is not opened. The town was still amazing with wonderful scenery everywhere. Our guide Peter was great. He walked with us during the first part of the tour. After lunch, we had about 2 more hours of free time to explore the medieval town. The time for touring seemed to be sufficient and not rushing. I was hesitant to book because the interior of the castle is not opened during the winter but I am glad that I did. During the winter, this place is not crowded. You can still visit the castle museum.

Good your

Great informative tour. Guide explained everything in details, showed around local places. One thing that was missing is having headphone pieces so the guide can be heard when you aren’t right next to him.

A visit to Cesky Krumlov...

A visit to Cesky Krumlov is a must, what a quaint town, filled with so much history. The tour moved at a good pace, our guide whose name I can’t remember (sorry) was on point. Keeping us informed throughout the journey and sharing as many details about the sites etc. I would recommend Martin Tours if you’re looking to explore.

Enjoyed the Castle

Cesky Krumlof is a cute town with lots of shops and restaurants. We especially enjoyed the tour of the castle. The only downside is it’s a long ride from Prague. Our tour guide was pleasant and knowledgeable.

Disappointing

The trip left very late. The driver had poor hygiene and was an aggressive driver. He passed several vehicles in a construction area going to Cesky Krumlov. The tour guide did not introduce himself and spoke English very poorly. We could not understand what he was saying. The castle tour guide was good, and the town was beautiful.

Guide and town were amazing breathing views many things to do and see..

Trip, guide and driver were great..just disappointed at not getting in Castle it was listed as entry to Castle ticket included...and even a allotted time of one hr in the castle...felt cheated ..The trip itself was awsome ...Just very let down..will think twice when booking with viator...

Excellent day trip to Cesky Krumlov

I was surprised to read the poor reviews for this trip. We had an excellent experience. I think the Czech temperament, which is rather stern, is misinterpreted as rude or uncaring. Our guide was very good. He was knowledgeable, relevant, and very well-organized. The trip, which includes a 2.5 hour drive, was well balanced in terms of commentary and quiet. Once we see on the tour of the town he seemed to understand what we wanted in terms of escorted time vs. free time. The local guide who did the tour of the castle was also very knowledgeable and charming. Finally, when we saw that we had a time problem for catching our train, our driver dropped us off at the station first. Altogether a good day.
