I enjoyed the tour. It was just not an eating tour our guide was very informative about different Philly attractions . Really enjoyed it and it was well worth the cost to me.
Interesting history, walked around and saw few things, but I wish every food was in different small restaurant like I had in some other food tours. This one had one restaurant and then 4 more foods in market in one place
Recommended for sure! Come hungry, because you’ll definitely be full by the end of the tour. We had some Philadelphia classics (cheesesteak, pretzels) and inari, which I would never have tried on my own but may be my new favorite thing. Our guide, Barry, was great — friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about food and the city. The amount of walking wasn’t as daunting as I expected for a two-hour tour, but we still got a good amount of architectural and local history in on our way. We ended at Reading Terminal Market, so it was convenient to explore on our own once the tour was finished.
Was in the States for the FIFA World Cup following Scotland, and while NYC was our base for the tournament, we used our down time to visit other cities like DC and Philly. This was the type of tour I was determined to do in Philadelphia and had no issues booking this tour. Our guide for the tour was Rick, and was really excellent. His knowledge of the city and all the best places to grab a bite to eat is second to none. While the tour sticks to the heart of the city, you do visit a lot of places and try all sorts of dishes. We tried a excellent Korean tofu finger food dish that was heaven, then got a smoothy that was excellent and tried bits and pieces here and there before we ended up at the market place, where you get some time to yourself while Rick got us a proper Philly Cheesesteak that was fantastic On the whole a excellent tour and can highly recommend it to anyone.
Rick was very knowledgeable of the part of the city we visited. He provided us with unique foods of Philidelphia to sample. He took all the time to answer our questions, we never felt rushed.
Informative guide - T. Lamb shared great info on Philly landmarks in addition to detailing the food scene. Great sampling of foods from the Reading Terminal Market - cheesesteak, doughnuts, cookies & pretzels. Also introduced us to a new Korean street food. Careful attention to food safety was appreciated as well.
Barry was a super guide with lots of experience in Philly. Enjoyed the Inari from Mari Mari the most, because it's something unusual. Could have done without the Insomnia cookies and spent that time at another stop in the market instead.
We had an excellent food tour with Tom. He’s very engaging and knowledgeable about the history. Gave us so many insights about the history and evolution of Philadelphia. Food choices were very good and we were full at the end of the tour. Highly recommend

The tour guide and the tour itself were great but the food options weren’t exactly what I expected. Started with a great pretzel then went down from there.
