Canyoning-Tour Gerês

Super experience - we were 2 adults and two teenagers of 14 years and 17 years away. Nice and exciting trip with lots of challenges. Carlos and Alfonso were our guides and they were very helpful and professional, which also made the trip fantastic.

Our Canyoning-Tour was wonderful and THE highlight of our 2 week roadtrip through Portugal. The nature was absolutely spectacular, and our route an excellent place for Canyoning. Carlos and Alfonso did a wonderful job of guiding the group and helping us on the more difficult parts of the tour. Our kids (10 and 14) could not get enough of climbing and jumping. Carlos also took really good pictures and shared them right after the tour. Thank you for this awesome experience!

Great experience in the mountains; we went down the river on a route through the river that got our adrenaline pumping while we felt very safe. The guides are the best, speaking several languages, absolute pros! 100% recommended

Incredible experience! We all absolutely loved it. So well organised and run. Carlos was clearly very experienced, which put us all at ease. He was fantastic with the kids, especially my eldest who was very anxious and nervous of the abseiling at times. Carlos was patient and kind, and my son ended up doing far more than I'd anticipated as a result. Gave him so much confidence, it was really wonderful to see. Highly recommend!

Very nice experience! Small scale, with a friendly guide who pays close attention to safety. One of us had a slight fear of heights, which was well taken into account without patronizing. Highly recommended!

I went there with our 12-year old son, and this turned out to be the highlight of our vacation. The activity is set in a beautiful surrounding in the midst of a granite canyon, with small and bigger waterfalls and puddles to explore. It's a very family-friendly tour, with two experienced and emphatic guides who maintain the perfect balance between safety, fun and time to enjoy the water and environment. Everything is explained very carefully, you are always encouraged to try, but never feel forced to do anything you're not feeling comfortable with. The descent is very relaxed, and never feels rushed. There is always time to take a jump a second or third time, or to simply float around in the water or have a chat. They are great with kids, fooling around, exploring caves, all while keeping an eye out and ensuring they stay safe. At the end you get A LOT of high quality pictures and videos documenting your trip. If you're a little bit adventurous I would highly recommend this tour while in Peneda-Geres.

Carlos and João from Lobo tours gave us a spectacular experience in the waterfalls! It was a fun and comfortable challenge for the whole family (12 and 15 years old). We felt safe all the time, and it was clear that safety was the focus. Recommended on the warmest!!
