Very friendly crew. Good food, but not the 'gourmet meal' advertised. The reef is sad as a result of the coral bleaching and die off to disease. Few fish, so the snorkeling was disappointing.
My husband and I with our three kids (10, 14, 17) booked this excursion after quite a lengthy search of tours offered around Mexico. It was 2 hours, almost all of which was spent actually snorkelling. It was a small group which was lovely. The snorkelling was fantastic: Aqua coloured water, clear views of many tropical fish (they would surround you!). We also saw sea turtles and a shipwreck. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Price wise it was fairly comparable to other tours, maybe a little bit more, but you have to expect to pay more when it is a smaller more intimate tour. Overall, if you are looking for something to do and have kids of various ages and kids that love the water this is a perfect excursion. We thought the length of time was perfect two hours. It didn’t take up our whole day but we got to experience some beautiful sites.

On this tour you will make 4 stops for snorkelling (3 cenotes in the sea, reef and muso, turtles, shipwreck) you go by speedboat to the several spots where you jump in the water and follow your guide. The group has 10 persons max. ( this gives a more personal approach then doing the tour on a large catamaran ) equipment is provided for you and tested in shallow water. During the trip you can see reefs, many colorfull fishes, baracudas, turtles, ... apparently you can encounter stingrays though we didn't see them. Juan was our captain and daisy our guide. They did an excellent job at making this tour memorable. You can choose in advance if you want pictures and video's ( optional ) for 60 dollars, we got 240 files this way, so seems well worth it.
