On the 10th of July we have had a 4-hour Wildlife Tour with Jos as our guide. We were lucky because the weather was nice and calm. The trip was with a covered boat. Once we were on our way we spotted our first wildlife. This was a group of 8 humpback whales. It was great to see so many of them. Our daughter saw one of the humpbacks jumping out of the water. After this we tried to see the blows on the surface to find more whales. And we did see 3 more of them. During the trip Jos told us some fun facts about the area itself. He really involved everyone, even our 9-year-old. The rest of the trip we saw dolphins, bald eagles and sea lions. Because of this great experience we booked the 2-hour sunset tour (see my second review). The guides and people at the front desk were very friendly.

Another great experience with Eagle Eye. My annual birthday treat and again I was not disappointed. Captain Bananas was a most delightful tour guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly, you could tell she adores her job. She kept a respectful distance from the whales. We saw orca peacefully swimming along and we didn’t need to travel far, as there were lots of humpbacks out that day. Whilst enjoying our drink and snack, with the engine off, 3 humpbacks decided to arrive and swim right underneath us. Exhilarating! A memory which will last for a lifetime!💐

This was the highlight of our time on Vancouver! We did get see humpback whales! Sea lions too! They are noisy! Spotted many eagles & they are amazing! Saw many other sights around the area. Gibson has lived there for years & knows a lot of history & knowledge of the area & waters! Great time!!

I highly recommend this whale watching company. Our 4 -hour excursion was unforgettable as we were lucky enough to see whales, dolphins, porpoise, otters, sea lions and black eagle. Our tour operator, Raphael, was exceptional . He was extremely patient and dedicated to tracking down the wildlife even staying overtime to ensure we had the best possible experience. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is outstanding.

Compared to the 2 other whale watching tours we have done, this was the most disappointing. The guide barely shared any knowledge, one got the impression he prefers just driving the boat. The distances were very far, even regarding the sea lions, which one supposedly always sees, not much was explained. The weather was great and the sea calm, we were lucky there. We saw humpback whales, but other marine mammals were then not searched for at all anymore.

The trip today was fantastic. Captain Bananas (Maeva) took good care of her passengers in English and if necessary in French. Wherever she could take a more comfortable route on this windy day, she did. With care, attention and patience we were transported in the rib boat. We got to see seals, sea lions and humpback whales. We had a lovely sunny day for the trip. But there was a lot of wind. Our guide. Captain Banana was brilliant and explained that the water was choppy and we may have to come back if it gets dangerous. Choppy ws an understatement 🤣 We were drenched and hit some mega waves.... But finally we got to see not 1 but 4 humpback whales put on an incredible acrobatic display for us! It was incredible. We did have to cut the tour short (about 1/1.5 hrs early 😞) as it became a little dangerous. This was a little disappointing after paying for the 4hr tour, but Captain Banana got us back safely to the harbour and I suppose they cannot control the weather.

I really enjoyed my 4-hour tour, during which we were lucky enough to spot several orcas: two large males and two groups of females with their calves. It was an unforgettable experience. Josh is an excellent guide—patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He took the time to share fascinating insights about the orcas and ensured that everyone on board had a great experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see marine wildlife up close in a respectful and well-organized setting.
