The Tours guy was very informative. We were really enjoyed the tour would recommend it for anyone.
Stacey was an enthusiastic and exceptionally knowledgeable tour guide. She was always smiling. Stacey was very welcoming and inclusive with all group members. We could not have gained the knowledge of Calgary we did by using the Internet or a seft guided tour. 3 hours very well spent. I highly recommend this tour and tour company.
Great walking tour of Calgary. Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging providing an insightful commentary throughout our tour. Billed as three hours walking tour I was expecting that we would cover a greater distance but the tour is of a quiet limited area of downtown at a very relaxed pace, all good just that I was expecting a bigger distance. Ideal for all levels of fitness.
Great tour by Michael. 3 hours of easy walking. A great way to get a plan for the rest of your time in Calgary. Would highly recommend.
Learned a lot about the city on this rainy but informative tour. Michael I showed our group all of the highlights along with interesting history and stories.
It was a 3 hour tour with quite a number of steps, most had railings to use. There was a 30 minute “rest/washroom” time at the library where there was also a small snack/drink cafe. Our guide was very good but is leaving Calgary next week. However, I’m guessing since the tour is “pay your guide what you choose”, that most of them are pretty good. I do think it would be appropriate if the company gave some guidelines for amounts. The downtown area is very interesting and the art is impressive. Even though not all the art was exactly my taste, the fact there is so much & it is so diverse is very appealing & interesting. Highly recommend.
Great experience! Our group had 23, I was worried about hearing our guide, but he had a microphone and was very good! We enjoyed meeting the other people as well from around the world!
There’s a lot of walking and it got warm. Layer and wear comfortable shoes. Stay hydrated.our guide Ross was charming and gave us lots of good information. He kept us moving but was attuned to our needs (short rests and cooler shaded spots. Ross was an excellent guide. The tour was well planned out and well worth doing. Highly recommend!
This is an excellent tour because it gives you the history of Calgary, which is very interesting, while pointing out various landmarks in the downtown Calgary area. Never been on a three hour walking tour before and had my doubts about one lasting that long in Calgary, but you really don’t walk very far because you are stopping regularly while the tour guide does quite a bit of talking. There is a 20 minute break in the middle at a location where restrooms, snacks, drinks and chairs are available. Our tour guide Michael was excellent. The group was fairly large, probably close to 20 people, but he had a microphone and a speaker box on his chest so everyone could easily hear him. The tour is advertised as “free“ but of course tips are expected at the end. And in this case, Michael’s was very well deserved.
If you have the time do not miss this tour. Michael was a great guide. I left the tour with a better understanding of Calgary and it's history.
