Cabo San Lucas Downtown Food und Tacos Tasting Experience

Great experience. It was a great blend of informative and delicious. The tour was approximately 3 hours and all of the stops on the tour were great. Our tour guide Carolina was fantastic!

We had done this tour two years ago, this time family and friends were coming with us to Cabo and were interested in this tour. We were very pleased that this time the tour went beyond just the typical tacos with updated options including machaca burritos, tamales and street corn. The dessert stop was fabulous as was the tequila tasting and churros. As an older individual the current tour also seemed to be in a more localized area so the walk was very doable. Definitely recommend

There is a lot of food! Milton our foodie guide was great, didn’t rush us and was accommodating when we asked where to by vanilla…took us to a store! Food was great and felt like a local! Well worth it.

This may have been the highlight of our entire trip. I wish we’d have done it earlier in the trip to get a feel for the local food scene instead of at the end of our trip. All the eateries Milton took us too were amazing, local authentic Mexican cuisine. We tried so many great things and learned so much about Cabo San Lucas as well as overall Mexican culture. The tequila tasting at the end was great, it was much more than just a simple tasting. We learn so much about the tequila making process and the culture surrounding it. This is a must if you are visiting Cabo. Prepare to get stuffed, it’s SO MUCH delicious food. I’m often described as a bottomless pit, but even I was having to turn food away the last few stops. I’d give this 6 stars if I could.

We had a one on one experience with our tour guide, Miguel, and it was amazing! He took us to a lot of local eateries, and the food did not disappoint. Since it’s walking tour, there’s less guilt for all the good bites. The tour also includes tequila tasting, chocolate tasting, and dessert so it’s worth every penny. I would highly recommend.

If you love tacos this tour is for you! Miguel was an amazing guide, we had so much fun learning about different types of tacos, watching fresh tortillas get made and eating!

If you’re visiting Cabo and want a food experience that goes far beyond the tourist trail, this tour is a must. Our guides were friendly, warm, and genuinely knowledgeable, exactly the kind of locals you want showing you around. The tacos alone are worth every penny. The variety and quality were unlike anything I’ve tasted before. Each stop was absolutely delicious. As if that weren’t enough, we also had tequila and chocolate tastings. Fascinating, fun, and so yummy. You leave not just full, but actually knowing more about Mexican food culture. Highly recommend Juan More Taco Tours to anyone visiting Cabo San Lucas. Don’t skip it.

The experience with Issy and team was the absolute best! During the shoulder season, thing were a bit slow so it was just me and two friends. We had the chance to meet and chat with Carina ahead of time. She is a lovely person. She guided us through a brief Cacao tutorial and tasting, which was fantastic and informative. Then, Issy loaded us into his van and we visited the market for a few things and then picked up cornmeal. We ended up cooking in his home, which felt like an honor. We started by making margaritas - key limes are the key! Then made salsa, guacamole, tortillas, tamales. We learned a lot and had the chance to eat delicious food. And, had the chance to get to know Issy and his house manager, Lupita. If you have the chance to do the cooking class, please do. You cannot go wrong! It was fun, informative and the family running this business is fantastic.
