Ihre Belfast Murals Tour beginnt in der Shankill Road Gegend von Belfast, die (protestantisch / britisch) ist, wo Ihr Black Taxi Taxi Fahrer eine detaillierte Geschichte der Gegend erklären wird. Sie besuchen den Clonard Martyrs Memorial Garden in der Bombay Street in der schwarzen Taxitour. In der Bombay Street in Belfast begannen die modernen Unruhen, als Katholiken aus ihren Häusern ausgebrannt wurden. Hier wurde auch die Provisorische IRA gegründet. Jeder Abschnitt dieses Gartens wird detailliert erklärt und die Gründe für seine Existenz erläutert. Der nächste Halt auf der Tour ist die Sinn Fein Pressestelle, wo sich eines der berühmtesten Falls Road Wandgemälde des Bobby Sands Wandgemäldes befindet. Sie erfahren mehr über die Geschichte von Bobby Sands und den irischen Hungerstreik im Maze Prison 1981.

Cab tours, Belfast Lived up to its reputation and reviews! John presented the information fairly from both sides and every stop a new story and more history and information and it really brought to light what went on during the Troubles. And walking through the ages that are still locked up at night was surreal. I feel We have a greater understanding now. It’s a tour that’s heavy but important to know and we thank John for an informative moving afternoon
This was a really nice tour. We would have appreciated a bit more basic intro for our 13 year old.
This was the best tour we’ve had on our trip so far. We can’t say we now understand all the nuances of Belfast and the Troubles, but we certainly came away knowing and understanding much more about the history and the people. The experience was excellent from start to finish. Belfast was incredibly busy because of the music festival and the Orange parade, which required a little coordination to find an open pickup location. Once we found our driver and got into the cab, though, we immediately felt right at home. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and did a wonderful job explaining an extraordinarily complicated history without trying to simplify it into an easy story. We saw the murals, walls, neighborhoods and places where that history actually happened, and learned so much along the way. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend Cab Tours Belfast. One of the highlights of our entire trip.

We had the tour with Danny. It was very comprehensive and informative. Danny was incredibly knowledgeable and shared many insights into the history and current struggles in Northern Ireland. We saw many significant sites. Overall, it was an amazing tour, I learned a lot.

We really enjoyed our cab tour with Danny H. He was great company and gave us a totally different perspective on “the troubles” from both sides of the fence (or should I say “Peace Wall”). Seeing the different neighbourhoods, the peace wall and hearing the stories behind the murals is a real “eye opener”. Danny’s good humour and friendly manner combined with his firsthand experience of growing up during the troubles and living in Belfast today makes for compelling listening. The impact of Danny’s tour will stay with us and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Belfast.
