Von Machu Picchu Pueblo (auch bekannt als Aguas Calientes) fahren Sie mit dem Bus in 20 Minuten bequem über eine Straße, die vom Fuß eines Berges bis zum Eingang des historischen Heiligtums Machu Picchu führt . Der Bus ist klimatisiert, umweltfreundlich und das einzige genehmigte Transportmittel von der nächsten Stadt Machu Picchu Pueblo zum Eingang der Ruinen Machu Picchu. Sie erhalten 2 Tickets. Eine Fahrkarte nach Machu Picchu und eine weitere Fahrkarte (Hin- und Rückfahrt). Dies sind die offiziellen Bustickets, die Ihnen per E-Mail zugeschickt werden und die Sie DRUCKEN und mitbringen müssen, um die langen Schlangen am Kaufstand zu überspringen. Solange Sie Ihre ausgedruckten Tickets mitbringen, steigen Sie zu jeder Zeit innerhalb der Betriebszeiten in jeden Bus ein.

Be mindful that these guys are not the official Machu Picchu Bus service provider. Although their main website address says so (which i found really deceiving). I paid $35 for round way bus tickets while in the official website was $24. Don't get deceived and pay more

Absolute disgrace - you are charged $35 and then another $1 fee on top of that for the return bus trip. You then receive two tickets each with a face value of $12 printed on them. I don't know if it's possible to actually pay for the face value of the tickets or not. Leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.

However, this typically requires waiting in the purchase line, which during busy hours can take 40–60 minutes or more. Our service provides electronic tickets secured in advance, allowing travelers to skip the ticket purchase line and proceed directly to the boarding queue. To provide this convenience, staff must physically obtain the tickets locally, stand in line on behalf of travelers, process the payment, and deliver the tickets electronically. The difference between the printed ticket value and the online price reflects this convenience service, handling, and payment processing. Travelers therefore have two options: • Purchase tickets directly in person and wait in line • Secure tickets in advance and avoid spending valuable travel time in the queue Many visitors prefer the second option so they can spend more time enjoying the extraordinary Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu rather than waiting at the ticket office. It was all right after 01 hour of waiting, as the tickets I printed were not validated by the local transport company.
When I showed up at the Machu Picchu bus pick up area with my family, I was told that the Viator tickets where not valid. There is an official Peruvian ticket system used which does NOT recognize Viator apparently. Also the guild situation was unclear and we had to find our own and pay cash. Over all bad experience and would recommend people to go directly through official Peruvian site for bus ticket purchase.
This was done through our tour group called Exoticca with a guide. Train to Aqua Calientes, bus up the mountain dirt road to close to the entrance. We got a full tour of all the Inca ruins. It was just wonderful and what the Incas were able to build out of solid granite! I was totally amazed!! Very worth seeing and not to be missed if you’re ever in Peru!!!

Comfortable bus, driver and staff very willing to help, mainly pq our private Guide left us in the middle of the journey and the wheelchair needs to be loaded at the entrance and exit of the bus. I just did not score better for the lack of accessibility, important now that Machu Picchu is affordable!!
The only option not to walk to Machu Pichu. The trip lasts approximately 30 minutes. The trip was very expensive for such a short trip. Maybe the bus is very safe and they leave often.
I had a heart problem and altitude sickness. Hard to cancel even if it was 2 weeks ahead of time. Waste of my money.

However, we do not understand why you gave us a bad rating since there is only one authorized bus company allowed to take travelers to the entrance of Machupicchu, and unfortunately according to their terms and conditions all sales are final and there are no refunds or cancellations. We did our job securing the tickets on your behalf ahead of time and also disclosing the "All sales are final" before you decided to purchase. We did our job in securing your tickets.
Very easy to access the link & buy the round trip tickets. I can get to Machu picchu entrance gate more comfortably. Thank you for Machu picchu center.
