Reiseverlauf
Die Tour beginnt vom Hafenzentrum Katakolo. Sie mieten das lustige Open-Air-Auto BeachBuggy®, das mit UKW-Stereo und auch mit einem Bluetooth-Soundsystem ausgestattet ist, das Sie Ihre Lieblingsmusik von Ihrem Telefon oder Youtube während Ihrer Fahrt Coastline der Katakolon-Halbinsel hören können! Sie haben die Möglichkeit, dem BeachBuggy®-Auto unseres Guides zu folgen, wenn wir Coastline für 10 Minuten bis zu unserem ersten Halt weiterfahren. Wir passieren einen natürlichen und vergnüglichen Weg mit vielen gravierbaren Fotos in Ihrem Kopf!
Der erste Halt ist das Top-Highlight des Dorfes Agios Andreas, der Stadt des antiken Elis in den Pisatis, gelegen auf dem Isthmus, der die Landzunge Ichthys (heute das Kap von Katakolo) mit dem Festland verbindet. Wir halten für 30 Minuten, für einen Kaffee (zusätzliche Gebühren), Atmen / Walking / Fotoshooting oder Schwimmen.
Zweiter Halt ist das Dorf Leventochori, ein atemberaubendes Strandziel, wo die üppig grünen Hügel des Elian-Lands auf das Meer treffen und eine Reihe von malerischen Bächen mit dunklem Sand schmücken! Wir stoppen für 30 Minuten, für einen Kaffee (zusätzliche Gebühren), Atmen / Walking / Fotoshooting oder Schwimmen
Nächste Station ist das Kloster Panagia Skafidiotissa oder Skafidia, von dem es seinen Namen erhielt, wurde um das 10. Jahrhundert erbaut. Neben dem klaren blauen Wasser des Einsamen, an der Mündung des Flusses Lardanes. Der Besucher wird von der mittelalterlichen Festung, die sie von weitem umgibt, geblendet. Neben seiner bemerkenswerten Architektur hat es auch viele religiöse und historische Schätze wie: Heilige Gefäße, Gewänder, Reliquien, Uniformen, Waffen, Ikonen, Münzen, Votive und das Banner des Klosters aus einer handgestickten Ikone, die Theotokos gewidmet ist. Wir halten 30 Minuten an.
Nächster Halt ist das kleine Dorf Skafidia, der Ort der antiken Stadt Dyspontium, eine der acht Städte Pisatis im antiken Elis. Es lag in der Ebene zwischen Elis und Olympia, nördlich des Flusses Alpheus und nicht weit vom Meer entfernt. Wir halten für 30 Minuten, für einen Kaffee (zusätzliche Gebühren), Atmen / Walking / Fotoshooting oder Schwimmen.
Nächster Halt ist der Kourouta Beach, der kosmopolitischste und blau markierte Strand von Ilia, der sich über 16 km erstreckt und vom kristallklaren Wasser des Ionischen Meeres gewaschen wird, nur 21 km vom Hafen von Katakolon entfernt. Neben dem goldenen Sand und dem tiefblauen Wasser des Strandes von Kourouta gibt es entlang der Küste unzählige Café-Bars, Restaurants, griechische Tavernen, die Ouzo, frischen Fisch und traditionelle Gerichte servieren. Wir halten für 60 Minuten zum Schwimmen und Entspannen in den Sonnenliegen an, wo Sie Getränke, Kaffee oder Speisen mit Meerblick genießen können!

One of the best excursions we took during our 10 night cruise. We loved seeing the countryside and various beaches. The buggies were very nice. Far exceeded our expectations.
The experience was great. We were alone with the guide. He showed us really beautiful spots and is generally a very nice man. At each location, there was always time for swimming, exploring the surroundings a bit, and/or having something to eat. The buggies are really nice and clean; you feel very comfortable. We would definitely recommend it and wish Stavros and his family all the best!
Fantastic experience from start to finish! Location sent by WhatsApp in morning, 2 mins walk from ship. The beach buggies were great fun to drive, beaches & scenery stunning and our guide George was superb friendly and professional. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an exciting day out.
The BEST TOUR EVER! We had the most amazing time touring the beautiful countryside. Our guide as fantastic, the buggy's were brand new and were a dream to drive. This is a tour you shouldn't miss. Hope to return soon for another great adventure.
We loved this! We were in a group with four other clean and new beach buggies. We hit the road and stopped at three different beaches having time to explore a little bit before moving on. We saw a lot of country side as well! We had an amazing lunch on the Mediterranean at a fabulous restaurant right on the water. It was so beautiful. Our tour guide provided us with drinks and lots of snacks as well. I would highly recommend this if you’re into a little adventure.
George was amazing!! Great tour! The buggy’s were very clean and in great condition! The beaches were beautiful and the food st the restaurant was amazing!
Exceptional experience, buggies were clean, drove smooth, George was an excellent tour guide, gave us plenty of time to hang out at the beach, got good photos from our group and George took the time to take his own photos of our group and sent them to us later as promised. Wonderful experience 10/10 Cruising downtown through the shops we felt like celebrities, everyone taking pictures of us like we’re celebrities, he is the only one with these buggies, book them ahead of time before the are taken.
What an amazing day. Away from the crowds, taking in the beauty in top class buggys. So relaxing, driving through small villages, the countryside and coastal scenery, while listening to music by Bluetooth in the buggy. George was attentive and listened to what we wanted and flexible enough to change direction to ensure we had a great day. The monastry was magical and the beaches breathtaking. I cannot think off anything we would've rather done. A real highlight for our holiday.
My Mom and I were visiting Olympia on a cruise and this was such a fun way to explore the Island in these beautiful buggies. Communication via WhatsApp was very good and when we arrived, the buggies were in mint condition 👌 and George provided so many extras including rain coats in case it rained, snacks, water and an orange drink. He also took so many beautiful photos and videos of my Mom & I and our group and sent them to us at no extra charge. Going through the small towns, the locals would wave to us and shout "Yassas" and we felt so welcomed. Don't hesitate to book this tour! You will not regret it.
Great experience! The weather on our visit wasn’t the best but George helped us make the most of it! It was a very fun way to get around and tour the area. A bonus was George taking pictures during the day and sending them out to everyone after. Highly recommend!
