Budapest Übersicht Private Tour

Had such a wonderful time with Anita, the history she shared with us about Budapest and Hungary was amazing. We would definitely use her again and hope to in the next couple years return.

I meant to post this review a long time ago, but from the more recent reviews, it's clear that people are still appreciating the personal touch that we received when we booked with Budapest Locals. Our tour guide, Kinga, was outstanding - very knowledgeable, showed us how to get around using the tram system, and guided us to the key highlights on both sides of the city. We saw and learned so much, and appreciated her warmth and insights very much.

Anita was a great tour guide. She gave us a great history of Hungary as we showed us some of the sights of Budapest. She was able to adjust the tour to our interests and was able to adjust the itinerary as we went. She gave us a great overview of Budapest, and gave us tips when we wanted to go back on subsequent days to spend more time at some of our favorite sites. She also had great bar/restaurant recommendations. We are so glad we had Anita help us get oriented in Budapest. I highly recommend Anita and Budapest local.

Anita's tour came strongly recommended by my parents and my uncle, who had taken the Budapest Overview tour before. They were so right! It felt like from the moment we landed in Budapest we had a longtime family friend to show us around and give us tips. Anita customized the tour based on our interests and background, shared TONS of personalized recommendations, and even checked in with us throughout the week to see how we were doing and answer any questions.

Anita was a spectacular guide, very fun and knowledgeable. Budapest has so much to offer and so much to see and learn about. Anita showed us some highlights and mapped out other places for us to explore on our own. And the streudel!!! YUM!

Our guide, Anita was very knowledgeable, kind, and thoughtful. She asked us at the beginning everything that we wanted to be sure to see, and she answered all of our question s. Her knowledge of the city was amazing. She was very pleasant to converse with. She took us for coffee and strudel halfway through the tours to rest. Excellent!

One of the best tour experiences we’ve ever had anywhere. Petra was incredibly brilliant and super easy to talk to/plan with. We had 3 kids with us + the grandparents. It went flawlessly. Our kids loved Petra… I have many photos of her holding their hands walking through Budapest. 100% recommend.
