What a fantastic experience. I got great shots and really got to know my camera. It was a cloudy evening but I learned that any type of weather can be advantage. The instructor was knowledgeable and experienced and really knew how to draw out my artistic side. Plus she had an answer to any photo questions I could throw at her, and it was also a lot of fun! I highly recommend this tour!
Had an amazing and inspirational session with instructor Zim, and Mike helped correct a small issue over the phone. Awesome experience with the whole company!
Dear Trinity, Thank you for your review. I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed your shoot even though it was bitterly cold that night. If you have any questions about what we did at all, please feel free to reach out to me. Zim NYC Photo Safari
We had an outstanding experience. Zim taught us advanced techniques in an easy to understand manner. She was professional, personable and punctual. Highly recommended.
Amazing tour! Not only were the views of the Manhattan skyline stunning, I was also able to learn an incredible amount of knowledge about general photography and camera specific tips and tricks. Thank you for this amazing experience!
Wonderful experience. Zim was our leader and she encouraged us to think out of the box for different compositions. She was always checking to make sure our exposures were correct and also checking our compositions. She would show us some unique ways to look at the scene. We covered the Williamsburg, Manhattan, and Brooklyn bridges at night. There were 4 of us in our group and we all enjoyed it so much that we booked a custom tour with her a couple of days later. I highly recommend Zim and New York City Photo Safari.

Excellent workshop! Zim is a wonderful guide and went above and beyond offering suggestions on composition and camera settings. Highly recommend.
Amazing evening was spent with Zim to capture the Brooklyn Bridge, New York skyline. Zim was lovely, friendly and very easy to talk to. Zim knowledge is next level with her experience with all different cameras. I got so much more out of this than I expected and this comes down to Zim. I would definitely recommend doing Brooklyn Bridge at Night Photography Tour.
I had a wonderful experience with Zim on the Brooklyn Bridge tour. I learned so much, and we captured some great photos! I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to learn more about photography.
I have taken a number of New York Photo Safaris over the years and have been lucky enough to work with Zim each time. Most recently I took the Brooklyn Bridge at Night safari. We shot not only the Brooklyn Bridge but the Manhattan Bridge as well. You stop at a number of different vantage points along the way to get different angles and perspectives. One thing I like about these safaris is that each one uses different elements of photography---for example in this safari I learned more about bracketing and also about using "bulb" mode on my camera. These were things I was aware of before but didn't know that much about using them. So this will enable me to use them more confidently on my own in the future. Zim is a wealth of information and can help you understand photography better and improve your shots. I would recommend a New York Photo Safari to any level photographer as I think anyone can learn something new on one of these.
I booked the Brooklyn Bridge at night safari and it was spectacular, our pro photographer met us at a pre arranged location near the subway station and he knew all the best locations to get the most fantastic pictures.
