This tour had been on my bucket list for years. It was worth the wait. The boat, the commentary, the crew and the starts of the shoe - the Whales were all fantastic. I would love to do it again.
Overall experience, excellent. Whale experience, excellent! Staff, amazing. Shout out to Cuz who was constantly checking in and seemed like he genuinely cared about the people on the ship (so did everyone else as well!) and explained how whales got barnacles. The girls behind the souvenir stand were very patient with our boy and friend's son. We got lucky and managed to be surrounded by whales doing all sorts of things. The ship itself was clean, tidy and well presented. The captain gave very interested commentary during the trip, was nice to hear local facts. Will definitely do this again!
Customer service was excellent, food provided was delicious, got to see lots of Whales. Overall the whole experience was amazing and would highly recommend!
Absolutely amazing experience. Everything was well organised and clearly explained. Got to get up close to multiple pods of Humpback Whales and they put on quite a show for us with multiple breaches, fin waves and slaps. Crew were fantastic the whole trip. Couldn’t fault this trip.
Went there 21/06/2026. Amazing tour, unforgettable experience. Learnt a lot about whales and their migration. Australia made a great effort to help them to recover! Crew was great, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We enjoyed a raffle, fresh delicious lunch, and nice clean environment. Thank you and we will see you again! Good luck, the crew and Lady Eye-Spy!
Staff was amazing and went above and beyond with service. Wales were only a few meters from the boat
A quick tip for this whale-watching trip: take seasickness medication beforehand! I got incredibly seasick and barely saw anything, which was a bummer. However, the silver lining was the crew. Their service was absolutely amazing, especially Loz. A huge thank you to the whole team for taking such wonderful care of me and my mom!
Within an hour we experienced our 1st sighting of a female with calf, absolutely exhilarating experienced, especially when more pods were sighted.
Great day with guaranteed viewing. Watching the whales breaching was incredible and the yummy meals kept the kids satisfied and full.
OMG, what an amazing trip. Tbh we were worried we wouldn't see much as this was one of the last trips if the season. But we were not disappointed. Once we had reached the migration lanes out in the open sea, just the other side of Moreton Island, we were able to see two groups of whales up close; a mum and her calf and then a another mum, her calf and an escorting Aunty. The boat cut it's engines and we just floated around for about 90 -120 mins watch this absolutely amazing spectacle. The whales seem to love the interaction with the boat and one of the calves became very playful in the water. The boat 'Eye-Spy' is lovely, very comfortable. There is a bar on board serving hot & cold drinks and snacks. We paid a little bit extra for a window table on the main deck, so we could eat the lovely lunch (included in the ticket price) and still see the whales outside. But you can move up to the middle and top decks for open air viewing at any time. The boat can hold 300 people, but we were lucky yesterday as the boat only had about 130 on board, so plenty of space to move around and get a great view of the whales from any of the decks. The staff are brilliant, very helpful and clearly love their jobs. The commentary during the whale watching was very interesting and informative. It all felt very personal, even though it wasn't. I can highly recommend this trip and although the season is now sadly over, it should be top of anyone's list to do next year, when the whale migration season starts again in May.
