Regarding the workshop, you are right that the focus is on working with chocolate and creating and decorating different shapes and chocolates, rather than making chocolate from scratch. The workshop is designed to give participants the opportunity to work hands-on with chocolate and be creative with it. Actual chocolate production requires specialised machinery and strict hygiene conditions, which is why this takes place in professional production facilities rather than inside the museum. We understand that, when visiting Bruges for only one day, everyone has to choose which activities best suit their interests. Thank you for including us in your visit!

We would also like to clarify that admission to the museum is always included in the workshop price. The museum visit itself takes approximately 90 minutes and includes several chocolate tastings along the way. We are particularly sorry that you found the interaction with our staff disappointing. We also appreciate your comments regarding the temperature in the workshop area and the difficulty of allowing the blonde chocolate to set properly. Under normal circumstances, our air-conditioning keeps the room sufficiently cool. However, we are currently experiencing an exceptional heatwave, which has made the workshop area warmer than usual and has affected the setting of the chocolate.
