Die Höhlenstadt Uplistsikhe liegt 7 km südöstlich von Gori am linken Ufer des Flusses Mtkvari. ... Sie finden dort riesige hallende Hallen, lange, sich schlängelnde Gassen, Kammern für heidnische Verehrung und sogar die Überreste von Georgiens ältestem Theater.
Die Route beginnt am Verwaltungsgebäude (850 m). Es dauert ungefähr 1,5 Stunden, um den Pfad zu durchqueren, während sich der Pfad nach einem 600 m langen Anstieg begradigt und nach links dreht, wo der Kreis gemacht wird, und zum selben Abschnitt zurückgeht. Der höchste Gipfel des Weges liegt 950 m über dem Meeresspiegel. Sie können ein Picknick entlang des Weges arrangieren.
Mzcheta ist eine Stadt in der Provinz Mzcheta-Mtianeti in Georgien. Sie ist eine der ältesten Städte Georgiens und ehemalige Hauptstadt und liegt etwa 20 km nördlich von Tiflis am Zusammenfluss der Flüsse Mtkvari und Aragvi

We had a fantastic day exploring Georgia with our guide Nikoloz. The itinerary included Uplistsikhe, Borjomi Central Park, Mtskheta, and a delicious stop at Salobie. Nikoloz was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience very smooth and enjoyable. He shared interesting history and local insights at every stop, especially at Uplistsikhe and Mtskheta, which made the visits much more meaningful. The itinerary itself was well planned, combining culture, nature, and food. Borjomi Central Park was relaxing and beautiful, and Salobie was a great choice to try authentic Georgian cuisine. We had an amazing day exploring some of Georgia’s highlights with our guide Iasha. The tour included Uplistsikhe, Borjomi Central Park, Mtskheta, and a wonderful meal at Salobie. Iasha was incredibly warm, professional, and attentive throughout the day. He explained the history in a very engaging way and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying every stop. The park itself is beautiful for a stroll, with scenic trails and old spa buildings that reflect the town’s history as a wellness retreat. Friendly locals, fresh mountain air, and stunning natural scenery make Borjomi a perfect place to unwind and recharge. Borjomi Central Park is perfect for a relaxing walk or family outing. The town has a unique mix of history and nature, with fresh air, beautiful views, and welcoming locals. A great place to unwind and experience Georgia’s natural beauty.
