The tour was very intriguing and we learnt a lot about the history and reasonings behind everything. Our guide was also really nice and made sure that we understood what she was saying and explained things elaborately.

Second of all, thanks to Alessandra my tour guide, she was so brilliant, knowledgeable and super skilled person, I can say she's the most amazing guide I could have ask for. She brought art to life and if you are in her tour you can absolutely feel her passion and knowledge touching you deeply, especially her way to tell about the Caravaggio's paintings and the stories behind Bernini's sculptural journey. I would like to do a thousand times this tour with you, thanks a lot, I hope you receive these words of appreciation for your brilliant ability to move inside this small but rich and amazing museum! Martina was the best tour guide we’ve ever had (and we have a lot of experience with museum tours). She was so knowledgeable, patient, kind, and engaging. Her storytelling skills are exceptional. She inspired our teenage daughters to want to learn about mythology and art history. They loved every minute of our time with Martina. We all learned so much from her!

Doo ooing stepped in when another tour company dropped the ball and their agent in Florence could not have been more helpful or friendly. Kudos to her for making a potentially bad moment a highlight of my visit to Rome

We booked this tour mainly because it included entry to the Borghese Gallery. To be honest, we expected the usual museum tour full of dates, names, and historical facts that are easy to forget. We didn’t even think we would actually follow the guide. Instead, this became the biggest surprise of our short trip to Rome. Martina is outstanding. She has an incredible talent for making art accessible, turning history into a story that feels like watching a great film or theatre performance. The information was never overwhelming, and every detail had a purpose, connecting the masterpieces of the Borghese Gallery with ideas and references that still appear in modern culture and cinema. The two hours flew by. The stories made us feel curiosity, wonder, and even emotion. We came expecting to simply walk past paintings and sculptures, but instead we received an unforgettable experience that gave us a completely new appreciation for art. We are still talking about what we learned and sharing those stories with others. Thank you, Martina, and thank you Doooing Experience for such an exceptional tour!

Booked this tour same day and the booking and execution was seamless. We met right in front of the entrance and the organizer and guide were ready for our small group. Our guide Virginia was very very knowledgeable and told us just enought to keep our interest without going into too much. The time passed quickly and I really recommend the later afternoon as it wasnt as busy and if possible book the small group tour it is worth the money to look at the artwork up close in a tiny group. Virginia was very good , highly recommend!!

Marina was an excellent guide that provided history, nuance , and context to our experience. The gallery is amazing , and a must see for anyone visiting Rome.

DO NOT book a tour with Doooing Experiences. You will be scammed on arrival. We were scammed out of 450 Euro, denied entry to the exhibit without their pre-recorded audio and were admonished for not reading the fine lines of their booking policy. Find another tour company!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS Within their "Know Before You Go" there is no mention that arriving late will cause you to forfeit your money. See below! The on site guy yelled profanities at my finance and her Italian friend. Why? We were three minutes late for the tour start, he apparently didn't like to be spoken to in Italian, is insulted by women speaking to him. The manager refused to provide basic entry to the Borghese without their tour. Our sweet local Italian friend spoke in Italian and the guy shown below started cursing her and yelling that he wouldn't speak with her in Italian. We paid for an entry ticket and self-guided audio tour and received nothing. Three minutes late and no offer to allow us entry into without their "self-guided" audio tour. And this company continues to defend the behavior of their staff and claims he didn't swear at or threaten women. Book with another company save yourself from these awful people. Travel should not be stressful. Communication of terms should be clear. Threatening women and swearing at them is not standard anyone should be subjected to. Imagine how his man was raised if he thinks treating women this is acceptable.

Not to paint it all “rainbows and sunshines” - all these guided tours depend on the guide and the group you end up in. Our experience was absolutely spectacular! Alessandra was phenomenal! We wish we could have this guide for all history/art/architecture things that we had booked. Extensive knowledge, curious facts, and overall positive upbeat vibe. It’s very rare, that you don’t want the tour to end, because you’re curious to hear guide’s narrative of yet another artwork or another room or sculpture. I hope you’ll get to experience this tour and this guide to the fullest, like we did.
