I had to get a refund as the provider did not provide a start time AND did not respond to phone messages or emails to ask for this. I actually think it’s a scam provider- beware
This review is a mistake . We’ve received all reviews already for all the class we did and they were excellent. We pay a lot of attention to all the mails and calls we are receiving. So I am sorry but it is not for us.
There were many hands-on baking activities. The class was taught in English and was very interactive and engaging.
Thank you so much for this so nice review. We are looking forward to meeting you again in Paris or Bordeaux
We learned two delicious recipes from our teacher. She has a lovely set up in her home kitchen which is well provisioned and comfortable enough for more than five people at one time. We learned to make canelles, a popular Bordeaux confection that has caramelly sugar cooked on the outside. We also cooked "travelers cakes" which we wound up using as a breakfast while we were on the road. Great experience and easy to get to using the local bus system.
Thank you so much . We are looking forward to welcoming you again in Paris or Bordeaux
My boyfriend and I were traveling to Bordeaux for the first time and decided to sign up for a pastry masterclass. We love to cook/bake and thought this would be fun! We absolutely loved our teacher, Sandra. We made choux pastries. They’re such a delicate dessert, and Sandra made us both feel so confident and encouraged to take on the challenge. She guided us through all the steps and made the process of making those pastries so easy. She’s also such a great conversationalist and a wonderful teacher. Would definitely recommend this to anyone, whether you have cooking experience or not.
Thank you so much . Sandra will be so happy of this review. Thank you for having taken some time to write it .
It was a fun class! We had French as well as English speakers so it was thought in both languages. My French is very very limited but I was able to understand what she was describing in French before she said it in English because she was demonstrating at the same time. It was a very helpful experience for my learning French and baking as well. The pastries were delicious and I can’t wait to get home and try them!
Thank you so much for taking some time to write a review. It will be very helpful for us us and I hope for the next visitors. Send us some pictures of your next creations !
The master chef was so great. Patient, knowledgeable and taught us many new essentials of French pastry cooking
Thank you so much for your review that I will share with the chef.
Jenni welcomed us to the cozy atelier in Paris's beautiful 9th arrondissement and taught us how to make eclairs and chouquettes. She was a great teacher, guiding us through the process and giving us many helpful tips to replicate the recipes at home. She made the class really fun and enjoyable, and the final product was delicious - highly recommend!
Thank you very much for this so kind review. So happy that you enjoyed this baking class and you ‘re right Jenni is a wonderful chef . I heard that it was for a birthday so happy birthday !
Our group of 8 (including kids from ages 9 and up) had a fun time with Jen making three different desserts for our cafe gourmand: crème brulee, moelleux au chocolat, and tuile + a caramel sauce to go along with it. My favorite was the tuile, simply because of all the different ways Jen showed us it could be used. The kids had a blast creating different patterns in the tuile, and of course, we all enjoyed eating what we made! Thank you for a wonderful morning! I can't wait to try this at home!
Thank you so much . It was a real pleasure. Your family is great.
