Bootsfahrt nach Balmaceda und Serrano Glaciers von Puerto Natales

Dies ist eine Bootsfahrt durch den Last Hope Sound zum Bernardo O'Higgins Nationalpark, um die Balmaceda und Serrano Gletscher zu besuchen. Wir werden nicht nur diese eisigen Giganten, sondern auch lokale Flora und Fauna auf dem Weg sehen.

Reiseverlauf
Dieser Bootsausflug startet morgens am Pier von Puerto Natales und führt uns zu zwei Gletschern, Balmaceda und Serrano. Diese sind Teil des Bernardo O'Higgins Nationalparks und nur mit dem Boot erreichbar. Dieser Park hat eine Fläche von 4.300.000 Hektar und ist damit der größte in Chile und einer der vier größten Parks der Welt. Es umfasst das südpatagonische Eisfeld, die größte Eismasse des amerikanischen Kontinents. Unsere Reise zum und vom Ende von Last Hope Sounds dauert acht Stunden und beinhaltet einen hervorragenden Blick auf die alte Gefrieranlage in Puerto Bories, mehrere kleine Ranches, Eisfelder und Wasserfälle, eine Kolonie von Kormoranen, deren gemeinsamer Name Imperial Shag as ist sowie ein Seelöwen-Steingarten. Vom Boot aus können wir auch die einheimische Flora beobachten, die aus Wäldern mit einheimischen Namen wie Coigue, Canelo, ñirre und Lenga besteht. Nach drei Stunden Fahrt erwarten wir den Balmaceda-Gletscher, der sich auf der Ostseite des gleichnamigen Berges befindet. Am Ende des Fjords legt das Boot an, um den Passagieren eine halbstündige Wanderung entlang eines Sees zum Aussichtspunkt des Serrano-Gletschers zu ermöglichen. Später am Nachmittag kehren wir auf demselben Weg nach Puerto Natales zurück.

No one spoke English… no guide, wasted my time and no value for the price… would no recommend for anyone….no photos of any value
A nice day, loaded in a shining 4x4 Huber at our hotel at 06:10 sparkling, brought to the boat, coffee, chatting with our screws screws, well wedged on our armchairs in the soft heat of the cabin and off we go, cool framing, outing on the deck or on the deck above the cabin, whenever we want, swimming prohibited, stops at the famous viewpoints, walk to the foot of a glacier, photos, photos, photos. Return to port after a stop super meal watered with Carmener or other according to taste, possible choice chicken, vegan, lamb in brazier the whole hearty sheltered in a large heated room, with friendly staff and attentive.Reembarkation.back to port enjoying a good whisky or other according to taste. Farewell on the dock and back to the hotel in Huber, great.
One of our favorite excursions seeing the glaciers, the beautiful Andes Mountains, and the meeting the most wonderful and most welcoming peoples! Wishing and hoping to return soon!
The incredible view. Beautiful landscapes. Very bad guides, they don't explain anything more than the basics. We did not see the Balmaceda glacier. Delicious lunch at Hacienda Perales.
The check-in was convenient and efficient. We walked from our Hotel "Saltos del Paine" to the tour office. The short bus ride to the boat dock was prompt and courteous. The return bus ride was punctual and comfortable. The boat crew courteous and helpful giving explanations of the waterfalls and the glaciers.
