Reiseverlauf

We made the reservation with a guide in Spanish, and the only languages the guide spoke were Italian and English.
Cala Granara and the last stop of the tour were truly terrible… beach and sea very crowded, it looked like the Ganga Snan, but the purpose was not to purify our souls from sins. So much for pristine places… The only valid stop is the dive into the open sea at the natural pools. The staff was certainly kind, but I didn't pay €320 to enjoy exclusively their kindness! Highly rejected!
A very beautiful family experience! The excursion allowed us to discover several magnificent places in the La Maddalena archipelago. The organization was very good, the crew pleasant, and the explanations clear throughout the day. We particularly appreciated the different stops that allow you to enjoy the beaches and swim in magnificent coves. A refreshing change of scenery, which is really worth the detour during a stay in Sardinia. We have very fond memories of it.
The excursion is highly recommended, the boat is just as it looks in the photos, it doesn't move at all, and there is enough time to tour La Maddalena and then stay in the coves where it stops for you.
The trip itself was lovely, but I have a couple of issues.Firstly, the boat was supposed to depart at 10:00. However, it only arrived just before 10:00, which obviously made us late because all passengers had to be checked in. The lady checking us in did not scan anything; she used a piece of paper to tick off names and verify that the tax was paid. If it wasn't, she collected the money right there, which was ridiculously time-consuming. By the time everyone boarded, it was 10:25.The itinerary I paid for was supposed to start at 10:00 and include a one-hour stay at La Maddalena. Because we left late, the crew informed us that we would only have 40 minutes there, meaning we lost 20 minutes. When I raised this issue, the captain finally agreed—after a long discussion—to extend our time by 10 minutes. In the end, we only got about 40 to 50 minutes to see the town instead of the full hour.My second issue is with the advertised itinerary. The program stated we would stop at:La Maddalena (60 minutes)Isola di SpargiPorto della MadonnaIsola di Spargi (second stop)Cala GaribaldiI chose this exact trip specifically because I wanted to see Cala Garibaldi. To my great disappointment, we never went there. Instead, we visited La Maddalena, went to Cala Granara, passed Spiaggia Rosa and Isola di Santa Maria, made a short swimming stop, and then went back to Isola di Spargi. While the beach was beautiful, we completely missed Cala Garibaldi. I am very unhappy because I paid for a specific itinerary, and these major changes were made without any consultation.
Beautiful experience, spots seen and visited met expectations. Welcoming and very friendly crew.
Amazing crystal clear waters, expect a long day in and out of the water, at various beaches and coves.
Thank you for this beautiful discovery in a reasonably sized building with a very attentive crew. They speak French there and our hosts love to share anecdotes. A very beautiful moment in a very beautiful place.
Thank you for the wonderful experience! A tour of the most beautiful beaches in the archipelago aboard the Marini family's Orient Express, absolutely recommended!
Excellent company, Maddalena Experience, very attentive and friendly staff.
