Eine Tour zum Blauen Auge und nach Gjirokaster wäre eine faszinierende Reise durch einige der schönsten und geschichtsträchtigsten Regionen Albaniens. Das Blaue Auge, in der Nähe der Stadt Saranda gelegen, ist eine atemberaubende natürliche Quelle mit kristallklarem blauem Wasser, das sie wie ein riesiges Auge aussehen lässt. Auch die Umgebung ist wunderschön, mit üppigem Grün und atemberaubenden Aussichten. Gjirokaster hingegen ist ein UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe und eine der geschichtsträchtigsten Städte Albaniens. Mit seinen engen Kopfsteinpflasterstraßen, der Architektur aus der osmanischen Zeit und der atemberaubenden Burg, die die Stadt überblickt, ist Gjirokaster ein Muss für jeden, der sich für Geschichte und Kultur interessiert. Reiseverlauf
Nach der Abholung ist unser erster Halt Blue Eye. Wir stellen das Auto auf dem Parkplatz des Naturparks ab und laufen 17 Minuten zum Hauptort. Bei der Ankunft an der Quelle haben wir Zeit, ein paar tolle Fotos zu machen, ein paar lokale Souvenirs zu kaufen oder sogar zum kalten Süßwasser der Quelle zu schwimmen (nicht zum Hauptort). Ich werde die ganze Zeit bei Ihnen sein und Ihnen alle Informationen geben, die Sie benötigen.
Gjirokaster ist eine historische Stadt mit unglaublichen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Geschmackserlebnissen. Sie gehört zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe und ist für ihre gut erhaltene Architektur aus der osmanischen Zeit bekannt. Viele ihrer Gebäude zeichnen sich durch markante Steindächer und enge Kopfsteinpflasterstraßen aus. Wir beginnen mit einem Besuch der Burg in etwa 30 Minuten. Von oben haben wir einen fantastischen Blick auf die Stadt und eine großartige Gelegenheit für unvergessliche Fotos. Nach der Burg gehen wir gemeinsam zum alten Basar, wo wir die Möglichkeit haben, einige lokale Souvenirs zu probieren und zu kaufen. Das Mittagessen mit traditionellen albanischen Gerichten ist der beste Teil der Tour. Wir essen in einem lokalen Familienrestaurant zu Mittag, in dem alles von dieser liebenswerten Familie hausgemacht wird. Am Ende des Tages haben Sie die Möglichkeit, etwa 30 Minuten lang kostenlos durch die Steinstadt zu spazieren.

We had an amazing tour to the Blue Eye and Gjirokaster, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The natural beauty of the Blue Eye was breathtaking, and Gjirokaster’s rich history and architecture were fascinating to explore. A special thank you to our guide Fatjon (Tony), who was outstanding throughout the day. His deep knowledge, friendly approach, and excellent organisation made everything smooth and enjoyable. The local food we had was absolutely delicious—authentic, fresh, and full of flavour. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the best of southern Albania with a top-notch guide!
Our fantastic guide Fatjon picked us up at the port and took us for a wonderful trip around. Very knowledgeable guy who told us a lot of interesting facts and stories as we drove around, and when we walked true the sights. Absolutely worth taking a trip with these guys 😊☀️
The view is very beautiful, the water crystal clear and with a colourful landscape. The castle offers a great view. We also ate delicious and typical food in the old town. Fatjon, our guide, has a lot of knowledge and the stories and anecdotes are very interesting. He is really nice ! Everything was great thank you so much ! We can only recommend if you want to experience and learn more about albanian culture
Denis our guide as well as the tour was amazing!He was very knowledgeable kind and friendly we had an amazing time with him! I booked the trip for me and my friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Denis took us to many places such and the blue eye which was magical offering to take pictures of us girls which was nice as he was very patient with us. For any trips I would highly recommend we had an amazing time thank you so much!!! :)
Denis was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and we had a great time! He catered the tour to our request kind, ensured we were given history as we traveled, and took us to the best places for pictures at each stop.

My sister and I had an amazing day with Denis, not only did we visit some of the most beautiful places in Albania, we also got to learn so much about the history and culture. Denis is extremely knowledgeable and passionate, he was able to answer all of our questions in great detail. The tour feels very private and Denis intends to keep it this way. The traditional lunch we had in Gjirokaster was also delicious- we got to try a huge variety to dishes. Overall, would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting!

This tour is a great experience and definitely worth it. Our tour guide, Denis, was great and he could answer all our questions on Albanian nature, culture and history. The tour gives a mix of nature at the blue eye and history at Gjirokaster. An amazing traditional Albanian lunch is included in the tour and the food was delicious. I definitely recommend to book the tour since it makes the Blue eye and Gjirokaster experiences way more enjoyable and interesting.
