So much fun. The crew was great - very accommodating. Kept our drinks full. Made sure we got off and on safely. Delicious lunch. Loved snorkeling - saw lots of beautiful fish. Even though it rained on us we still had a great time.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience! We’re so glad to hear that you had such a fun time and that our crew took great care of you throughout the day. It’s great to know that the team made sure everyone was comfortable and safe, while also keeping the drinks flowing and providing a delicious lunch. We’re especially happy that you enjoyed the snorkeling and had the chance to see so many beautiful fish. Even with the rain, we’re thrilled that you were able to make the most of the experience and leave with great memories. Thank you for choosing Native’s Way and for sharing your feedback! For some reason, the tour we took isn’t showing up. It was the snorkeling at Catalinas Island. t was a colossal waste of time and money. The trip was primarily for scuba divers and all the attention was paid to them. The boat ride took about an hour and the area is not at all gentle as advertised. We were handed the masks and flippers and told to jump in. My daughter had never snorkeled before and was not even told how to clear her snorkel. I had to tell her how to do it. We spent a ridiculous amount of time waiting for the divers to jump off in two separate places and then get back on. The “guide,” and I use that term loosely, barely spoke to us, just told us to stay together, and that was about it. Total waste of time and money.
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your snorkeling experience at Catalina Island did not meet your expectations, especially as you were traveling with someone who was new to snorkeling. We would like to clarify that the Catalina Island excursion is a combined snorkeling and scuba diving experience, which means the itinerary and timing are designed to accommodate both activities. Some waiting time is therefore necessary while the diving groups enter and exit the water at the designated locations. We understand, however, that this may have felt excessive from a snorkeling guest’s perspective. Our guides are expected to provide appropriate instructions and assistance, particularly to guests who are new to snorkeling. We’re sorry to hear that you did not feel adequately supported or informed before entering the water. Your comments regarding the communication and guidance provided are important, and we will review them with the team. Ocean conditions and visibility can also vary depending on weather, currents, and other natural factors. While we cannot control these conditions, we always want our guests to have a safe and enjoyable experience. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to address your concerns. We take your comments seriously and will use them to improve communication and the experience for future guests. Pura Vida, Native's Way
It was a great time & we had great weather. There were 13 in our group and another 4 people we didn’t know. Perfect amount for the boat. The food was good & the staff was helpful. Would definitely book this again.
It’s great to hear that you had such a fun time and that the weather made the experience even better! We’re glad the boat was a comfortable size for your group and that you enjoyed the food and attentive service from our staff. Thank you for choosing Native’s Way and for sharing your experience. We truly appreciate your recommendation and would be happy to welcome you back for another day on the water! Pura Vida, Native's Way
Amazing day. Saw turtles, people went into the ocean if they wanted to. The drinks were always pouring and its always nice to see a stranger get sea sick and try to vomit accurately in a solo cup. The walk to and from was easy from our resort and a sunset walk on the beach was absolutely magical.
What a wonderful way to celebrate a 40th birthday! We’re thrilled to hear that you had such a memorable day filled with beautiful scenery, time on the water, and a magical sunset walk along the beach. We’re glad the easy walk from your resort made the experience even more convenient and that the drinks and relaxed atmosphere added to the fun. We hope everyone recovered quickly from the seasickness and that it didn’t take away from an otherwise great day! Thank you for choosing Native’s Way and for sharing your experience with us. We hope to welcome you back for another sunset adventure in Costa Rica. Pura Vida, Native's Way
This was our third time out with blue dolphin they are very professional and make sure everyone having a good time ! Excellent lunch and lots of beverages
great time, great views, great drinks
Great experience. Relaxing and fun vibes with the crew. They were very hospitable, and provided an amazing lunch along with the adventure.
The boat tour was very fun! It was very wavy and windy the day we set sail, but they kept us safe and happy! It was also a very good lunch we had on the boat! They played good music and were friendly. All types of ages were on the boat!
If you are looking for getting drunk and listening to loud Latin music for 5 hours straight in hot sun, totally, go for it. But just so you know, there was no dolphin or whale watching or snorkeling. They don’t even have enough life jackets or snorkels . They had couple of kayaks and one paddle board which was not enough. They say they saw dolphins and whales yesterday but if it doesn’t happen today is because the waters are murky. Personally I don’t think so. We were there for snorkeling and dolphin or whale watching. It was the most disappointing experience we had in Costa Rica.
There were 4 of us in our sixties, we had an amazing time. Once we boarded we sail for about an hour up the coast to a cove where we stopped for about 90 minutes. Some snorkeled but we swam to a great little beach ⛱️. And walked the beach and sunned. Once back on the boat had an awesome lunch. On the cruise back to Tamarindo beach we saw a whale and her babies. The boat stopped for about 15 minutes so we could get some pics. Captain Chute and his crew were very friendly and attentive to everyone's needs. We booked through our hotel and felt the value for the price was great. I would recommend.
