Bilbao-Tour auf Spanisch + Artxanda-Seilbahn

Beschreibung

Great information on Bilbao, knowledgable guide! She was on time and very swee! Recommended places to eat after tour!!!
Guide very good knowledge of the city and the history of all the civil war in Bilbao and the defense of the outside walls
For people who do not know anything about Bilbao, a very good way to know and see its history, our guide Anne simply boards it.
Very prepared and professional guide He kept me comfortable, since Spanish is not my mother tongue I had no problem following the explanations and interacting with the group From the Mirador of Artxanda spectacular view of the city with historical insights provided by the guide
Our tour guide did NOT show up for the tour, although Viator had sent us many confirmations. Apparently the local guide had the dates wrong, for JUNE 15 instead of JULY 15. She had sent me a WhatsApp text is JUNE saying "Where Are you, we are waiting to start". I told her she was a month early, that it's JULY 15. and sent her a screen grab of our booking. Instead of correcting the error, she canceled us. Since Viator had sent me confirmations all week in July, I assumed all was well. It was not. I urge Viator to please actually CONFIRM with your local guides before sending the client a bogus confirmation.
I'm so sorry about what happened. My booking system and the synchronization with Viator didn't work properly, and I don't know why. It wasn't my fault. In fact, I contacted them when I had the reservation, which was for June 15th, because they didn't show up, not on July 15th. Something like this has never happened to me before. I've been doing my job for many years, and I've never received a complaint like this. The error wasn't mine; it was a technical glitch. I'm so sorry!
We went 3 days to Bilbao for the holidays and we were generally quite disappointed with this stay. The city is not very beautiful and aging. Even the old town did not seduce us, with all these tourist-catching restaurants. We took a boat ride: most of the time we had the Impression of walking between ruined fields with the only view of dilapidated buildings. Only at the end of the tour are the houses pretty. But honest 20 € for that, it was clearly not worth it. We also made the funicular: for me it is irrelevant. Upstairs, the view is spoiled by a horrible antenna. We will certainly not return to this city.
We spent the day visiting the museum and wandering around the city. Very beautiful old center. We could see the sea. The beach is not worth it (maybe only for Europeans).
Muchas gracias por su opinión!
It is a very original tour, by the climb on the funicular to an elevated part, from where the city looks very good, and where Anne, the guide, tells you the history of Bilbao and the highlights. Then go downstairs and show you the old town, making it very enjoyable and interesting. She is an art historian and her love for what she does is rating, she speaks very well and she is a very nice person who cares about people being happy, open to questions. Thanks Anne!!
Ane was an exceptional guide. It has been without a doubt one of the best tours I have ever done, you can rating the passion, the involvement and the taste for what it tells you and teaches you. The visit is amazing, the views from the funicular are very cool but the panoramic of the city you get once above... just amazing. In turn, the part for the old town was great. I learned a lot from the history of Bilbao and its people. I highly recommend it.
The guide was punctual, the explanations were interesting and you could ask any questions and information. Maybe I would have preferred a little more time in the old town, but that's a personal thing.
