Food was better than other luaus that we attended. Staff very friendly. Show was great.
Mahalo for your review! We're so glad you enjoyed the food, friendly service, and the show!
Great food and lovely show. Also beautiful along the water.
Great meal and incredible show by very talented people. It was very easy to get parking, just follow the directions they provide. Once inside, again, they provide easy directions about where to go to register. Once we were in the right place, registration was super easy and we received our lei. Very cool. We were then led outside to the seating area and able to get our picture taken and pick up a Mai tai, dark or light rum. We were then directed to our table and enjoyed our drinks and some chips and salsa. Very shortly, a show host explained how things were going to work and everything got started. We were led to get food, there was a lot of food and all of it was Hawaiian. If we’re a great chance to try some things that might typically be outside the box. In the meantime, various parts of the show began as well, the royal court, the dinner blessing, dancing, etc. once the eating was done, the full show started. The dancers are very talented and I can only imagine the time they put in to prepare for the show. Lots of energy and fun all around.
Friendly, family oriented atmosphere with great food and even better performances and staff. Especially loved the history behind the islanders and their dances.
The show was great but said food was going to be serve for 2 hours so we had a few drinks well 45 minutes later most food was put up so no pork or anything good
This certainly wasn't a bad experience, but we found out that basically all the major resorts do these and it's pretty much like they all went to the luau store and bought the same thing, literally even some of the jokes the hostess tells are the same as other resort luaus. We did a few of these, and honestly the Royal Kona had the best one. So if you're vacationing in Hawaii, pick this one if it's on discount or something compared to Royal Kona
The people were friendly and knowledgeable. The performances were outstanding, and the history was also fascinating. The food was done very well. Would certainly recommend this.
Mahalo for your wonderful review!
The entertainment was great and the food as well
Mahalo for your feedback!
It was a good experiance following the biztory of the islands. The dancers and musicians were great. The food was also pretty good - need to put some of all on your plate. Points to note: The experiance was lessened due to it being held in the hotel ballroom because of the high surf allwrt at the time - mother nature! This is a large attendance, I would say 200 to 250 people Leis are an extra $10, each!!! Should be made aware if this on the Viator page. Parking - if you are traveling to the event you can park in the hotel car park. Whislt the sign says $20ph, WHEN you get your ticket validated with the luau team it comes down to $7 for the evening. Again, should be made aware if this on the Viator page.
Mahalo for your feedback. We're so glad to hear you enjoyed the experience overall, and we appreciate your constructive comments about the venue and parking. We know it can be frustrating to have to move indoors - we so appreciate your understanding! We hope to welcome you back again in the future for another evening with our 'ohana!
This experience was extremely disappointing and not worth the price. The food quality was poor and overly salty, and there was very little effort put into the stage setup or overall presentation. The performance itself felt underwhelming, with only about seven performers throughout the entire evening. It reminded me more of a small, low-budget village show I once saw in the Philippines years ago. Considering I paid nearly $1,000 for five people, the value just wasn’t there. In my opinion, this experience wouldn’t even be worth $50 per person.
Mahalo for your feedback. We're sorry you did not enjoy your experience and your comments will be shared with our team.
