Perfect date night! Food was good. The crew made sure the drinks kept coming. Views were amazing. Having a live speaker makes it more memorable.
Mahalo, Damaris, for your wonderful review! We're so happy to hear you enjoyed a perfect date night aboard our Historical Dinner Cruise. It's great to know you enjoyed the food, the beautiful views, and our crew's attentive service. We're especially glad the live historical narration made the experience even more memorable—sharing the stories and history of the Kona Coast is one of our favorite parts of the cruise. Thank you for choosing Body Glove Cruises to be part of your special evening. We hope to welcome you both back aboard again soon for another unforgettable sunset on the Kona coast!
For tonight, the water was pretty choppy. Captain and crew did a great job of keeping everyone safe and maintained great service. I have to say that I prefer the roast beef (served last time we took this cruise) over the chicken. As you can see, we have done this cruise more than once, so I would recommend it.
Aloha Preston, Thank you so much for cruising with us again and for taking the time to share your feedback! We're glad to hear our captain and crew helped make you feel safe and well cared for, even with the choppy conditions that evening. It means a lot that you've chosen to join us more than once, and we're especially grateful for your recommendation. We look forward to welcoming you back aboard.
Beautiful time! Dinner was really great and we say dolphins and a manta ray as a bonus. Would do again.
Aloha Jennifer, Dolphins, topped off by Mantas on any of our ocean adventures always is a thrilling-beautiful experience! We are so happy that they joined your trip! Thanks a million for your kind words about how great dinner was! Our Chef and and his team will be thrilled to hear your rave review! This was a great experience, you get to know a bit of local history while enjoying an evening cruise. The staff was polite, friendly and attentive. The food was tasty but I could have done without the gravy. But overall a great experience!
Aloha Dawana, Mahalo for your wonderful review! We're so happy to hear you enjoyed learning about the history of Kealakekua Bay while relaxing on an evening cruise along the beautiful Kona Coast. It's especially rewarding to know that our crew's friendly, attentive service helped make your experience memorable. Thank you as well for your feedback about the meal. We appreciate hearing what our guests enjoyed and what they might prefer differently. We're glad the food was tasty overall and that your cruise experience was a positive one. Mahalo for joining us, and we hope to welcome you aboard again for another beautiful sunset and evening on the water!
Food is ok First have is interesting, than boat turns around back to dock. Nothing much goes on for the last half of the cruise
Aloha Bruce, Thank you for joining us and for sharing your feedback. We're glad you found the historical portion of the cruise interesting. Our dinner cruise is designed to offer more than just transportation to Kealakekua Bay. Throughout the experience, guests enjoy live Hawaiian music, a full table-service dinner, historical narration about the Kona Coast and Kealakekua Bay, spectacular sunset views, and the comfort of sailing aboard our beautiful 65-foot catamaran. The return portion of the cruise is intentionally more relaxed, giving guests time to enjoy music, scenery, and ocean views as we make our way back to the pier. For our valued readers our Historical Sunset Dinner Cruise has been voted best sunset cruise on the island every year for nearly twenty years.
The staff was great and the music was pleasant. The singer was hard to understand but he had a good voice. The most disappointing part was how small the meal was. My whole group left hungry which is sad after we paid almost $200 for the dinner cruise.
Mahalo for joining us on the Historical Dinner Cruise and for taking the time to share your feedback, Shawn. We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed our staff and the live music onboard. For future guests reading reviews, our current dinner menu includes a Waimea Strawberry Spring Salad with local greens, Rincon Farms strawberries, Big Island feta, and candied macadamia nuts; a sea salt–brined 8 ounce roasted airline chicken served with red mashed potatoes, Hamakua mushroom Marsala demi-glace, sautéed spinach and mushrooms, and a warm coconut dinner roll; followed by a Big Island Chocolate Torte with raspberry coulis for dessert. Mahalo again for sailing with us, and we hope to welcome you back aboard in the future.
I was really impressed with the food on this tour. Everything was tasty and it was just the right amount of food. The way there was quite choppy and my friend got seasick. The crew was excellent. They brought her ginger ale, and ginger chews, told us the best place to sit was at the back of the boat and checked in a few times before we returned. The history provided was superficial, so that was disappointing. All in all, it was quite good.
Aloha, Thank you for your kind words and for joining us! We are thrilled that you enjoyed our menu and that our crew took excellent care of you and your friend. Our program is curated to appeal to audiences of all ages. For our valued readers our historical portion of the cruise concludes at the Kealakekua Bay and live music plays on the cruise back to the Kailua Pier. Wishing you all the best! We hope to see you again someday soon!
