Picked up from hotel by our driver, Martin. Very friendly and helpful. And was there waiting when we got back from the safari. Very good choice of lunch before we headed off on the safari bus. Great guide, Trevor, entertaining and informative. We were lucky with the weather and the animals came out for us. Definitely recommend if you only have time for a short safari.
Martin showed us a great experience, was friendly and a huge help navigating around this new area for us along with offering his own personal preferences and ideas to help make our trip here very special, thankyou so much for your kindness and help.
We enjoyed the day. Martin, our driver was on time, polite, and gave us information along the way. The lunch was buffet style with a good selection. The 2 to 3 hour drive through the park was enjoyable with lots of information about the animals provided by our guide/driver. We saw elephants, buffalo, rhino, zebra, hippo, antelope, and the lions at a distance. There were ostrich and other birds as well. The park has limited animals but at least you see them in thier natural habitat All round a good trip.

I had an amazing trip to the Aquila game reserve. Martin was a terrific guide and driver. We stopped along the way at a winery for a tasting and a little food. The reserve was very nice and we got to see many animals close up. Kudos to Randall our safari guide who was informative and fun.

Unfortunately a rather short safari.. 2, 5 hours, but ei e completely unnecessary break for wine tasting ....also on arrival...too bad about the time
Hi Thomas. We use this farm in Paarl as a halfway stop instead of a petrol station coffee shop. Paarl is a very old town steeped in history and we thought a different experience en route would add to the experience. The game drives are usually 2.5 to 3 hours. Your feedback is truly appreciated. We booked a daytime safari but the company changed this to a sunset safari without informing us. The driver Martin was brilliant. He saved the day for us and got us in a daytime safari as we had originally planned. Martin gets a 5 out of 5 score.
