Mit über 5.000 Jahren Zivilisation aus der ganzen Welt in einem der großen Museen der Welt vertreten, ist eine Führung, um sicherzustellen, dass die "Must-Sees" ist eine Notwendigkeit! Diese Tour navigiert Meisterwerke der Zivilisation aus aller Welt mit einem besonderen Schwerpunkt der Kunst und Artefakte aus dem biblischen Zeitalter. Wir werden zu den Gräbern des alten Ägypten gebracht und besuchen Geschichten von Genesis und Exodus, bewundern Kunst der byzantinischen und mittelalterlichen Welt, die Geschichten von israelitischen Königen wie David und Salomo zum Leben erweckt, und wir besuchen das römische Judäa, um Artefakte des Jerusalemer Tempels und der Welt Jesu zu untersuchen. Jonathan was so knowledgeable not only about biblical historical aspects of the MET but the MET altogether! During our guide multiple individuals came up to ask him information as he was so knowledgeable and I could tell many wanted to join our private tour! Would definitely recommend especially in the future when more exhibits are available to see at the museum.

THE MET can be a bit visually overwhelming when you enter, as its such a big place 🤩 What was really awesome is that not only did Jonathan text me a picture of himself at the meet up point 👌🏽, but he was also there to greet us as soon as we entered the museum & even arranged to get us a wheelchair so that my elderly father could fully enjoy the tour. As we walked along, Jonathan did such an amazing job at connecting some of the artifacts we were seeing in the displays to stories in the Bible that those times correspond to. Really cool to see some visual references connecting to some of my favorite biblical stories 🙏🏽 I would highly recommend this guided tour w/ Jonathan, as Me & My father enjoyed every minute of our journey walking through the Met with Jonathan, we were learning so much but also able to admire/enjoy the beauty of The Met ❤️ I’m very glad I found this tour, it made our visit to The Met that much more special…10/10
