Wir starten an dem berühmten Ort, an dem der heilige Dionysius im Jahr 51 n. Chr. von Paulus getauft wurde. Der berühmte Mars-Hügel auf der Akropolis
Es ist eine der antiken Agoras von Athen, das Forum Romanum, der erste Ort, an dem Paulus sich aufhielt, als er vom Hafen von Piräus kam. Von diesem Denkmal, der römischen Agora, luden ihn die Richter im Jahr 51 n. Chr. ein, zum Areopag zu gehen und über die 13 Götter zu sprechen.
Es ist nur 2.700 Jahre alt – wirklich alt. Der Rollweg, der die Boote vom Korinthischen Meer zur Ägäis und umgekehrt zieht. Das nach dem Diolkos benannte Spezialteam machte Korinth zum Handelszentrum Griechenlands.
Der Istmus-Kanal ist 6 Kilometer lang, 80 Meter hoch, 24 Meter breit und 10 Meter tief. Am Kanal begann der berühmte König Georg im Jahr 1882 n. Chr. mit den Ausgrabungen. Er brachte 5.000 sehr gut bezahlte Arbeiter für die Ausgrabungen mit. Der Kanal verbindet die Ägäis mit dem Ionischen Meer.

Der älteste Tempel des Apollo in Griechenland, Gott des Lichts und der Musik, der lokale Gott der Korinther. Es ist der einzige Tempel in Griechenland aus dem Jahr 716 v. Chr., in dem die Sonne mich von allen Seiten trifft.
Der Winterpalast von Caesar mit dem Tempel der Afrodität. Es ist das größte Schloss Europas, 530 Meter hoch. Einblick in die 1000 schönsten Frauen. Das 2.500 Jahre alte Schloss wurde 1246 n. Chr. zum Palast von König William Vilellardouinos.
Der antike Hafen, Paulus fand dort Priscilla und Akila, die Zelte auf dem Wasser bauten. Auch die Kirche ist ein sehr wichtiges Denkmal für die Besucher, die Kirche, in der Paulus, Priscilla, Akila und Fivi praktizierten. Paulus verließ den Hafen 53 n. Chr., um nach Effessos zu fahren.

We had such a wonderful experience on this tour. Nick was our guide and he was knowledgeable, passionate about the topics he shared with us and very kind. I had sustained a previous injury and was on crutches and not able to walk far or on uneven surfaces so Nick tailored the experience to meet my needs and I was still able to get some great photos and experience everything without the walking. Incredible tour with Konstantinos! This tour is lengthy and definitely off the usual trail when you visit Athens, but it was so enjoyable and special to visit Corinth. There were so many spots to visit and we could take our time where we wanted, allowed a lot of flexibility. Would highly recommend!

Highly recommend! Konstantinos Kourgialis was an amazing driver/ guide. He was very knowledgeable. It’s a self guided tour once you arrive at the sights but he did provide a lot of facts. He allowed us to explore at our leisure did not make us feel rushed. The vehicle was very nice as well. Surpassed our expectations!!

Our guide, Dennis was so great!! We had the perfect weather for our day of adventuring. Dennis took us around to see where Apostle Paul had been, and had a smidge of fun Greek history to throw in. He was flexible with our schedule since our tour group was so small he let us stay and adventure a little longer which we LOVED! Cannot say enough good things about this tour!

Great tour to Korinth (Corinth). The vehicle was excellent and our Guide Nick was awesome. The original port where Paul first landed was great. The baptistery had been uncovered and we were able to walk right up to it.(no water in it) I would recommend some preparation prior to going to the archaeological site in Corinth as it is quite large and the guide is not allowed to go in with you so finding the raised podium where Paul stood and preached the Good News was a challenge. Would definitely recommend for those who want some geographical context of Paul’s journey from Athens to Korinth which is the Greek and therefore correct spelling
