Die Insel Cabras ist die größte Insel der Azoren und liegt 3,5 Seemeilen von der Stadt Angra do Heroísmo entfernt. Sie ist ein wichtiges Nistgebiet für mehrere Arten von Seevögeln und wiederum ein Portegida-Gebiet. Route Auf einer Route ähnlich einer „8“ rund um die Insel können wir zwischen der etwa 120 Meter langen Lücke, die die Insel teilt, ihre gesamte vulkanische Struktur beobachten und auch etwas über ihre Geschichte erfahren. Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit, ein kurzes Bad im blauen Wasser der Insel zu nehmen.

We had the perfect day for the tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and the .Cabras Islet was really interesting up especially up close. Highly recommend.

A magical experience riding to and through the “goat islands”. We had a whole pod of dolphins surfing the waves next to us on the way out and even though it was a windy day we all day a great time. My 4 year old even fell asleep towards the end she was so relaxed. Kind and knowledgeable tour guide and captain. Would recommend for all ages to see a different view of the island and learn about the history of the beautiful isle.

The landscape is even more beautiful when viewed from the boat. The crew was very friendly and was taking note of questions of interest regarding the goat islands and answering the questions that were asked to him.
