- Zeitzone: Sri Lanka beachtet die indische Standardzeitzone (IST). Es gibt keine Änderungen der Sommerzeit.
- Hotelzeiten: Check-in nach 14.00 Uhr. Check-out vor 1200 Uhr. Bitte informieren Sie sich vorher, wenn Sie früh einchecken und / oder spät auschecken müssen.
- Stromadapter: Sri Lanka verbraucht Strom mit 230 V, 50 Hz und verfügt über Steckdosen in Dreieckskonfiguration. Daher ist es ratsam, einen internationalen Reiseadapter mitzunehmen, um Unannehmlichkeiten zu vermeiden.
- Währung: Die offizielle Währung von Sri Lanka ist die Rupie (LKR). Sie können alle wichtigen Fremdwährungen am Flughafen / in der Bank umtauschen
- Klima / Wetter: Sri Lanka hat ein tropisches Klima und ist immer warm. In Kandy, Nuwara Eliya und Ella ist es jedoch viel kühler. Daher wird warme Kleidung empfohlen. Sri Lanka beobachtet zwei Monsun-Südwest-Monsun-Regenfälle von Mai bis September im Südwesten und auf der Westseite des Zentralgebirges. Die Nordost-Monsunzeit wird von Dezember bis Februar Regen verursachen Nord- und Nordostteil des Landes.
- Tempel und Kleiderordnung: Als Zeichen des Respekts sollten beide Geschlechter Schultern und Knie bedecken, wenn sie eine Kultstätte in Sri Lanka betreten. Sie müssen auch Schuhe und Hüte ausziehen und dürfen keine Fotos machen, die die Statue zurückdrehen oder vor der Statue stehen.
- Für alle Reisenden ist ein gültiger Reisepass und ein gültiges Visum erforderlich. Alle Besucher werden aufgefordert, Visa über (ETA - Electronic Travel Authorization) zu beantragen. Das Touristenvisum ist drei Monate gültig, daher sollte der Reisepass mindestens sechs Monate nach dem Ankunftsdatum des Inhabers gültig sein.
- Impfungen und Gesundheit: Keine Impfungen erforderlich. Dengue-Fieber ist in der Region sehr häufig, es gibt jedoch keine Impfung dagegen. Reisende müssen daher Vorsichtsmaßnahmen gegen Mückenstiche treffen und das nächstgelegene Krankenhaus aufsuchen, wenn sie den Verdacht auf eine Infektion haben. I have been to 45 countries by now, the private tour guide and people of Sri Lanka in general were exceptional and kind. The guide went above and beyond to accommodate to everything my mom and aunties asked for he made sure that we had a comfortable journey from the airport pick up all the way to the tours and airport drop off. If I would visit again it will be because of the kindness of the people and the professionalism of the tours. Thank you
Premil is an extraordinary driver guide. He is charming, smiling, nice and always punctual. He knows everything about his country in all areas, cultural, political, religious, culinary, botany, good addresses, the best times to visit... he also has a great international general culture, which allowed us to exchange with him on high states of matter than Sri Lanka. Just one regret, that he was not with us the whole time of our journey. I highly recommend Premil.

Room category was poor for the paid price. Not possible to adapt the trip. Food was ok but not diversified. Too much mandatory visits in « partner shops ». Tourism development impacted the quality of the service.

Premil was fantastic, very responsive with communication in the planning stage prior to our arrival and very dependable once we arrived. We hired Premil for a six day tour of the country and would recommend him to anyone. He aided in the planning and recommend an itinerary, responded gracefully with last minute changes we threw at him during our trip. He was waiting for us at the airport when we arrived, I was concerned about this most after reading about other companies leaving people stranded. Prompt when meeting us each morning and never had to wait on him. Very knowledgeable about the sights we visited, and a pleasant person to be around. Would not hesitate to hire him again.
We met Premill from Real Lanka Holidays company with my wife and 9 years old daughter 2 days before our Sri Lanka trip. Even though we requested at the last moment, they took care of us and arranged a car with a driver. Throughout our trip with Sam, which lasted about 1 week, he took care of us like a tourist guide, not like a driver. Prenil was very competent and was always responsive to any of our requests. He showed us round and was very professional throughout. He even shared his Wifi which was great help. He has a great local knowledge and was able to give us a details about every landmark we wanted to know about. He made us feel safe in this beautiful country, and his communication was 10/10. Will definitely will use him and his company again, and will share his details with our friends and family in the UK.

We went on this tour as a family (4 people). When we were picked up the first day, we were greeted with a welcome sign and received a very warm welcome :) we did this tour with our guide for several days and we were totally thrilled! Premil fulfilled all of our wishes and even exceeded our expectations. Through this tour, he brought us much closer to the country and the very lovely people. We never felt like just any tourists, but rather friends who were shown the beautiful country. I would like to warmly recommend this tour operator and especially our tour guide and driver Premil. I thoroughly enjoyed almost all weather, rains, cold, humid, hot. Have experienced mountains,beaches, forests, river, plains. People are lovely, they treat tourists as their house guests.food is amazing but spicy. Bentota beaches mite be underrated but it's serene and peaceful....
