Unsere erste Station auf der Tour ist Red Beach, einer der schönsten und atemberaubendsten Strände der Insel, mit all seinen einzigartigen Farben! Es liegt nur wenige Schritte von der antiken Stätte Akrotiri entfernt. Der kleine Strandbereich schafft eine ziemlich überfüllte Atmosphäre und es gibt viele Tage, an denen die meisten Besucher den Strand nicht besuchen und stattdessen diese einzigartige Landschaft aus roten und schwarzen Vulkanfelsen vom Boot aus bewundern. Schnorcheln ist aufgrund der interessanten Felsformationen, die man am Meeresgrund finden kann, sehr zu empfehlen.
Die nächste Station ist der Weiße Strand mit kristallklarem Wasser und einem scharfen Kontrast zum nahe gelegenen Strand Kokkini (Roter Strand). Dieser Strand ist nur über das Meer erreichbar und weniger beliebt als die benachbarte Bucht und weniger überlaufen. Idealer Ort für Landschaftsfotografie.
Santorini hat eine einzigartige natürliche Schönheit und eine wilde Landschaft, die durch Vulkanausbrüche entstanden ist. Innerhalb der Caldera entstanden durch diese Aktivität die dunkel gefärbten Inseln Nea und Palea Kameni. Einer der besten Orte auf Santorini ist Palia Kameni, wo sich die heißen Quellen befinden.
Eine der beiden vulkanischen Inseln inmitten der Caldera von Santorini, bekannt als Hot Springs. Der Temperaturunterschied zwischen dem Meer und den heißen Quellen beträgt etwa 5 Grad Celsius. Das Wasser enthält Schwefel, der gut für die Haut ist.
Bei unserem nächsten Halt haben wir die Möglichkeit, drei einzigartige Orte zu genießen. Immerovigli, Firostefani und der alte Hafen von Fira. Traditionelle Häuser, schmale Pfade und Ausblicke auf den Vulkan sind herausragende Merkmale. Auf Santorini gibt es zwei Häfen. Der Hafen von Athinios ist für Fähren und Handelsschiffe, während der Hafen von Gialos, auch bekannt als der alte Hafen von Fira, nur für Passagiere von Kreuzfahrtschiffen vorgesehen ist. Gialos liegt direkt unterhalb von Fira, der Hauptstadt von Santorin.

We took a private catamaran cruise today around the island of Santorini and it was truly amazing. The company picked us from the hotel and took us to the dock located on the southern part of the island. The driver was very informative about the island and pointed out areas of interest along the way. Once we got to the dock we boarded the Catamaran boat and the crew was spectacular. Mitsos was our main guide ensuring that we were taken care of every step of the way. He ensured we knew the history of the island and answered all our questions. Best of all he was also the cook and dinner was delicious. Stelios was the driver/captain of the catamaran. He was super nice and very much enjoyed getting to know both of them. He tailored our cruise to what we were interested in and ensured we had a wonderful time seeing all the beautiful spots around the island. Best of all his choice of music was spot on and we all throughly enjoyed the cruise. He took us to a secluded spot to watch the sunset and had played an amazing playlist to enhance the experience. At the very end he dropped us off at an area of the island that was not crowded with all the other cruises to make it easier for us to get off the boat. Our driver was there waiting for us to transfer us back to the hotel. If you are thinking about doing a private sunset cruise then I would highly recommend this one. I have traveled all over the world and taken many tours on the water and this by far exceeded our expectations! It was truly an incredible experience and most definitely a memorable one!
