Das Brandenburger Tor, das im 18. Jahrhundert im Auftrag des preußischen Königs Friedrich Wilhelm II. erbaut wurde, ist eines der bekanntesten Wahrzeichen Deutschlands. Es wurde an der Stelle eines ehemaligen Stadttores errichtet, das den Beginn der Straße von Berlin nach Brandenburg an der Havel, der Hauptstadt der Markgrafschaft Brandenburg, markierte.

This Christmas lights tour through Berlin was simply magical! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish and the festive atmosphere immediately put us in the Christmas spirit. Our guide Jasmin was not only extremely knowledgeable, but also very passionate - with exciting stories and humorous anecdotes, he introduced us to the most beautiful corners of Berlin. The twinkling lights, festively decorated streets and impressive sights made the tour a real feast for the eyes. The delicious gingerbread and warming mulled wine were an absolute highlight. The combination of twinkling lights, culinary delights and a great guide made this tour an unforgettable experience. If you want to experience Berlin's Christmas season at its best, you should definitely not miss this tour! An absolute recommendation!
A bit disappointing - the tour did not start on time (they forgot the cookies) and then the guide called our names out loud as if we were in school. She also gave pretty bad directions to the poor driver, leading us to find ourselves in pretty unsafe situations (once in the middle of an intersection while the light changed from green to red). It was nice to be on the bus and look around, but I could have done the same on a regular bus or a couple of them that traverse the city. It's not a tour I would recommend.
