It was great, lunch was good, Mustapha was very helpful with everything and explained the barber culture in detail, its really a good way to spend a day outside the hustle of Marrakech, definetly recommend
Our guide mustapha amazouz was a phenomenal tour guide. He shared with an open heart, exposing his guests to the rich Berber culture. The day was full of wonderful activities. Note that the hike is a hike, not an easy walk, and it is definitely worth the effort. It was a unique experience, one that is probably much better than other similar experiences. Highly recommended!!!
A fantastic day trip from Marrakesh into the Atlas Mountains with Mustafa today. We got a real insight into the culture of the Berber people. Mustafa was an excellent guide, friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable with a willing and able helping hand on the steep bits of our walk. If you can, go on a Saturday as that is when the local market happens. Mustafa took us through this colourful and vibrant experience, explaining and hi-fiving people as he went! It was certainly a highlight of our day. The other highlight was being welcomed into his parents home with mint tea, peanuts and a handshake from his younger sister! Not something that everyone gets to experience but we were very honoured that we were able to. It was a full day excursion and one well worth taking. We would certainly recommend it to anyone.
The tour was wonderful! The hike is good for anyone who is not too sporty. Our guide Mustapha Amazouz speaks perfect English and is from these mountain villages, so he knows like no one else! Thank you for the great day!
We booked a day trip to the Berber lands with our smiling driver Abdul and our kind guide Moustafa. We had an unforgettable experience exploring the Atlas Mountains, Berber culture, making argan products and Moroccan gastronomy. We highly recommend this excursion if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.
The atlas mountain tour with Mustapha Amazouz was beautiful. He is a friendly, competent and polite guide. He comes from atlas mountain, so he knows what he says. Even if it was rainy, was the tour very funny. And if u are not the best walker, he waits for u, so he is interested to let the group together.
It was my first time in Marrakech with my fellow dancers. I guess it's just a little bit of a tour of the tourist areas? I thought so, but it was a pretty serious hike. The clothes also came in a tourist-like manner, which was a disaster. It started raining and my clothes and shoes were all covered in mud! My hands are nibbling and I can't take pictures. Laugh But it was a wonderful experience, one that seemed to be welcomed by nature. If you are confident in your physical strength, please come!
