We had a great time on this tour. They picked us up at our hotel on the exact time, the car was super nice and spotless and our driver Pratman was so friendly along the way - he even made sure to check that the speed he was driving was comfortable for us to make us feel safe which we really appreciated. First we stopped at a place where they make local fabrics which I thought was just a tourist trap but was genuinely cool to see how the local women weave the fabrics and we bought a few nice items, then we drove to the waterfalls. The walk there wasn’t too hard and the local waterfall guide was sooo friendly he helped my mum along the way on the slippery path. I’ve been to see waterfalls in other countries but these ones are genuinely stunning, they’re massive and the water is so clean it was super impressive, I think we were also lucky due to low season there was almost nobody there so felt like we were explorers in the jungle it was genuinely an amazing experience. Pratman was there to take us to a nice little local restaurant afterwards before we drove back to our hotel. The only minor thing was the drive was a little longer than expected I would think we spent a good two hours in the car each way but that’s just the distance from our hotel we stayed in Selong Belanak. All in all a great day out and thanks to Pratman our driver for being so friendly and sharing his stories and information about Lombok throughout the journey ! Highly recommend this trip !
amazing time, Eka, Adi and the tour manager were super helpful and so kind to make our day special. they went above and beyond to help us explore lombok and took loads of amazing photos for us to keep our best memories! thank you so much guys x
Thank you very much, we are so glad to hear that, hope to see you again.
We had an amazing experience with Bambus Tours during our time in Lombok! From start to finish, everything was incredibly well organised. Our guide, Sigit, was not only friendly and professional but also deeply knowledgeable about every destination we visited. He shared so much insight into the local culture, nature, and history, which really enriched our trip. What stood out most was the flexibility – plans were adjusted seamlessly to suit our needs, and Sigit always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Thanks to Bambus Tours and Sigit, we had a truly memorable holiday in Lombok. Highly recommended!
The waterfalls at Benang Kelambu and Benang Stokel were a good break from beachcombing in Kuta. Both falls are located in the same general area; but, one is farther away than the other. The longer hike is doable, but it does have some steep parts and muddy terrain. I recommend taking a guide. The one I found had a scooter, and it made the journey far easier and convenient. (After paying for your admission, the guides will be clustered in/around the parking lot). Both falls are beautiful and lush; and, the water was clear and cool. (That's when I realized I should've brought my swim trunks). The waterfalls are located in small ravines and there are stairs to manage. Naturally, descending is the fun part, but, returning may make you sweaty. (Maybe bring bug repellent. I didn't have an issue; but, the mosquitos may be out in the summer months). Apparently, October is slow season in Lombok and there weren't many people at either site.
We were 4 couples from New Jersey, USA looking for something interesting to do on Lombok off the cruise ship. Well, we found it and then some in the visit to the two waterfalls recommended by Sigit from Bambus. I found Bambus after doing a bit of research, and Sigit was the ultimate professional with regards to his communication, his explanation of drive times and tour times in conjunction with the departure times, etc. He was a great find for our group. He took us to two waterfalls - one you could access from a ten minute walk, and one it is suggested to ride on a scooter through a jungle-type area. Our group did both, and were not disappointed at all. for some of us, it was a highlight of our 6 weeks Southeast Asia trip. The beauty and majesty of these natural waterfalls is not describable. You just end up either staring up at them, or stepping in them and being covered in cool, crystal clear water. This is something you should not miss, and I am grateful for Sigit for taking us there. I highly recommend using Bambus for your touring needs on the island of Lombok.
A beautiful and beautiful place, a forest that is still asri and can encounter monkeys and other animals clear and smooth water
Eka was very nice, kind, and friendly. I could feel that he tries his best to make my stay in Lombok awesome and well organized. He listens to all my requests, suggests many places, and shares Lombok's culture. Even thought this is my solo trip, I didn't feel lonely or missing out anything. I appreciate his hospitality, safe drive, and personality. Thank you Eka!
Easy trip, a pleasant excursion with panoramic views of all respect. The route is well laid out, also suitable for families with children, it is not difficult to find a Guide to take you. Discreet but definitely improveable the possibility of catering at the base of the route.
Beautiful scenery in a forest up in the hills at the foot of Rinjani. A good drive from Kuta, Lombok, about 1.5hours. Monkeys abound, lots of steps which can be uneven. Got my heart racing at times over the 30 min walk there, then back, from/to the car park. Didn't feel like 51 flights but that's what my watch recorded. A good workout for the day.
Nice waterfalls in the jungle And when you get luck you see black monkeys. Tours are guided and guide Pick you Up with a Scooter
