Benagil, Marinha-Täler, Knochen und mittelalterliche Silves Castle

I had an excellent experience with the Algarve Flashback Events! The visit to Benagil, Praia da Marinha, Suspensos Vales and the medieval area of Silves with the Castle was simply amazing. Everything was very well organized, with a relaxed atmosphere and at the same time very professional. The guide was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and explained very well the history and curiosities of each place, making the tour even more special. The landscapes are stunning and we had enough time to appreciate each stop and take photos. I highly recommend this experience to those who want to discover some of the most beautiful places in the Algarve in an authentic and well accompanied way. Definitely an experience to repeat!

We booked an excursion to the Benagil Caves and were completely scammed. We were promised a large boat with an upper deck, bar, and a swimming stop, and were even told by an agent named “Annie” that we had to book a specific time and day to get that exact package. Based on her assurances, we paid extra. What we received was nothing like what was advertised. The boat was small, overcrowded, and unsafe — we weren’t even allowed to stand up, let alone swim. The bathrooms didn’t have locks, so no one could use them properly. When we asked the crew about the mistake, they told us to sit down or leave the boat and refused to discuss refunds. Afterwards, all our calls and messages were ignored, and when we tried to reach someone, the tour reps had disappeared from where we bought the tickets. Later, I received threatening and insulting WhatsApp messages from a woman claiming to be the manager, telling me I’d “never get my refund” and trying to gaslight me into saying we received the correct service — which we absolutely did not. This was one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had. The company is dishonest, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. I have screenshots and voice notes to prove everything that happened. Please, do yourself a favour and book with anyone else. There are plenty of honest, reputable companies offering proper Benagil Cave tours — this one is a scam.

Christopher and rocky were absolutely fantastic! The catamaran was lovely with adequate space for our small group! We had a splendid gay on the water! The dingy was great for going into the caves! Highly recommend this tour!

Went on this excursion with my partner whilst away for my birthday. We had Arthur as our driver who was very friendly and chill as well as knowledgeable and informative on history and areas/subjects of interest in general. We got to see all the locations listed on the ad and try the amazingly sweet fresh orange juice and check out the creepy bone chapel. From pick up at our hotel, to being dropped back, it was about 4.5 hours, we weren't rushed at all, it was a good experience and well worth the money. Recommended.

My partner arranged through a close friend of mine and excursion to see the castle in Silves. We were put in touch with Algarve Flash Back Tours who were very prompt in replying to any and all questions we had. The tour was reasonably priced considering it took up to four hours and included collection from the tour guide directly outside our accommodation. Our tour guide Arthur, was incredibly polite and knowledgeable showing us various points of interest including the caves and coastline, The Lady of the Rock church as well as the castle and church in Silves. He was also happy to drop us off at an alternate location to what was previously understood. Special thanks also goes to Kayleigh who kept us fully up to date and informed throughout from initial contact to even going so far as to check in with us afterwards to see if the tour met our expectations. I would happily revisit Abufaria again in the future and I will be more than happy to deal directly with Algarve Flash Back again as opposed to the local tourist information centre.

Fantastic day!!! As a solo traveller, I wanted to see a bit more of the Algarve. My guide, Arthur (I hope that's correct) was brilliant company. He was very informative and made the trip feel like a day out with a friend. We were joined by a lovely family from Bristol, who kindly brought iced water bottles, as the heat was intense. I wouldn't hesitate to book another trip with these guys. It was a brilliant day and I managed to see so many beautiful sights. Thoroughly enjoyed it ❤️

We booked a private jeep tour for 2 x adults and 1 8 year old child. Our tour guide was Arthur who shared lots of stories and taught us loads about the local areas and Portugal. He was kind to our son and very entertaining. He even bought us freshly squeezed juice for our journey home. Would not hesitate to recommend 🥰
