Belle Meade beherbergte Prominente, Präsidenten, Generäle und eine Fülle verehrter Turfmen und wurde zur ersten Sehenswürdigkeit Nashvilles. Nur 11 Meilen westlich der Innenstadt von Nashville gelegen, bietet dieses Heiligtum der südlichen Gastfreundschaft heute Führungen, Essen und Weine, Bourbon-Verkostungen, hervorragende Geschenkläden, Nashvilles erstes Weingut, ein eigenes Restaurant, einen Outdoor-Spielplatz und einige der schönsten Plätze in Nashville.

Das 30 Hektar große und als Arboretum ausgewiesene Gelände von Belle Meade ist auf eigene Faust zu erkunden. Wir empfehlen, insgesamt zwei Stunden für die geführte Tour und die selbstgeführte Tour durch das Gelände einzuplanen. Wenn Sie zu spät zu Ihrer Tour kommen, können Sie die Tour möglicherweise nicht erleben. Darüber hinaus bietet Belle Meade Wein- und Speisenkombinationen, eine geführte Tour durch die Nebengebäude und Bourbon-Verkostungen an. Ein Restaurant vor Ort, The Belle Meade Meat & Three, ist ebenfalls verfügbar. - Das Gelände ist rollstuhlgerecht und der erste Stock des Herrenhauses ist auch rollstuhlgerecht mit einer Rampe zur Seitenveranda. Bitte bringen Sie Ihren eigenen Rollstuhl, Gehhilfe, Spazierstock oder Roller mit, um Ihren Komfort zu gewährleisten. Es gibt einen Aufzug, der den Service zwischen der unteren und oberen Ebene des Besucherzentrums bietet.

Our guide was a wealth of knowledge on the family and estate. I wish the tour could have been longer.
Wonderful experience! Perfection in presentation of sensitive subject matter. The grounds, the mansion the atmosphere, the staff - all fabulous.
We originally booked our tour for 2:00 p.m. but we had a mild medical emergency that forced us to find a pharmacy. This medical issue was stressful, we had to call the staff twice in order to push back the reservation. The staff at Belle Meade were easy to get in touch with and Incredibly accommodating about rebooking us for later in the day. The grounds are beautiful and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable. She was able to answer each question that we asked. The Belle Meade Mansion tour was about 45 minutes but afterward we were able to walk the grounds and explore on our own. It's a great blend for people who like some self-guided elements and some more specific guided parts of a tour.
Beautiful grounds, educational, and thorough. Our tour had an answer for everything. Walking and stairs, but nothing strenuous. Inside of the house is air conditioned which was great since we were having a heat wave. They have a great gift shop. Wine was tasty. Next time I’ll try the bourbon experience. Would definitely recommend the tour.
We really enjoyed the tour of the mansion. Walking around the grounds was very nice also.
Belle Meade exceeded our expectations. The mansion tour was very ice and really informational. It’s a history filled tour that gives a good foundation before touring the remainder of the grounds. There is food available and a winery to visit. If you are looking for something to do away the hustle and bustle of downtown this is a great option. Very relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful grounds. Very staff member we came into contact with could not have been more pleasant, kind and helpful.
We enjoyed our tour of the mansion immensely. Amelia was so knowledgeable and filled us in on so many interesting stories from the past. We would highly recommend the tour. The winery was charming and the outdoor music was a wonderful surprise. Sharing a bottle of wine while listening to Joanna Yaeger was the perfect way to spend our afternoon in the beautiful grounds.
Wonderful afternoon spent at Belle Meade. After the hustle of Broadway it was nice to be somewhere peaceful and serene. The history if very impressive, food and drinks very good with a nice variety and the grounds were beautiful to stoll around. Highly recommend it!
Well, unfortunately, due to traffic, we got there at 4:15 on the dot and they told us that it was too late to join the tour, so they gave us a map to wander the grounds. Then a police officer told us after a while we had only three minutes left and to hurry out. However, the young lady at the front desk was very apologetic and nice and said that she would credit us some money back since we had to do a self guided tour for a limited amount of time. We really enjoyed the wine tasting though, and the young man that helped us was very knowledgeable and very friendly. Happy to say we purchased one of four delicious wines and wish we could’ve purchased all four. Bellmeade was a very beautiful place.
