Abholung vom Hotel in der Lobby des Stadtzentrums. Danach fahren wir direkt zur Mutianyu Great Wall, die für ihre atemberaubende Naturlandschaft berühmt ist – üppige Wälder und lebendige Landschaften, die sich mit jeder Jahreszeit wunderschön verwandeln. Dieser Abschnitt liegt im Bezirk Huairou nordöstlich von Peking und ist etwa 75 Kilometer vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Als einer der besterhaltensten und malerischsten Abschnitte der Großen Mauer diente Mutianyu historisch als wichtige nördliche Verteidigungsmauer zum Schutz der Hauptstadt. Sie können mit der Seilbahn bis zur Wand fahren. Sie können wählen, entlang der Wand zu wandern, um atemberaubende Panoramablicke zu genießen, oder nehmen Sie die Seilbahn nach unten oder Sesselbahn hinauf und Rodelfahrt für eine lustige und unvergessliche Abfahrt. Am Ende der Tour werden Sie zu Ihrem Hotel zurückgebracht.

Very friendly Tour Guide! He has a lot of knowledge about the history of the Great Wall and explained it in a very easy way. Even why china is called china in the west, which was very interesting. Also the tour guide was patient, because our queue for the toboggan was a little bit longer than expected and he was waiting without any problems or something! :)
The tour was amazing if you want to enjoy learning about the history of the wall but also enjoy the scenery. We had around 2h on the wall and that was more than enough time and the schedule was very flexible. Our guide Maggie was fantastic and caring and she stuck by our side for the whole trip so it was stress-free and comfortable. She even waited in line for us and brought us our tickets. She also gave very clear and good instructions. She is very passionate about both the history of the great wall as well as the country. She even recommended places to eat and where to get souvenirs. The tea tasting at the end was also a great experience. I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you Maggie!

We had a great experience visiting the Great Wall with our guide Jeffrey. One thing I really appreciated was the early departure. It made a huge difference—we avoided the crowds and, more importantly, the hottest part of the day. By the time more tour groups started arriving, we were already enjoying the views without having to deal with the heat or long lines. Jeffrey was able to tailor the hiking route and pace according to our requests, the excursion felt much more comfortable than we expected, and he shared the history of the Great Wall and many interesting stories, which made the visit even more meaningful. Our trip to the Great Wall was wonderful, thanks to our guide Wendy and driver Mr. Sun. Highly recommended for any family traveling with young children. The truth is that the experience has been perfect from start to finish. The day before our visit to the Wall, our fantastic guide, Maggie, contacted us to make sure we were clear about the meeting point and remind us of the essentials we had to bring. Once on the bus, Maggie has explained to us in detail how everything was going to happen in addition to telling us a story about the Wall and the rest of Beijing. In visits like this it is easy for people to get lost (and even more so in a group of 15 people like ours) and that you are not clear where you have to go at all times, but Maggie controlled everything (and everyone hahaha) perfectly. Of course it is a guide that I recommend and with which I would repeat if I visited any other part of the city.
